QtRvSim is a free, open-source RISC-V processor simulator designed for computer architecture education and experimentation. Developed at Czech Technical University, it provides a graphical environment for exploring processor execution and internal components. The software supports 32-bit and 64-bit RISC-V ELF executables using selected instruction set extensions. Users can write assembly code through an integrated editor and assembler. It provides tools for examining memory, registers, instructions, and program execution. The simulator also models peripherals, including serial communication, LEDs, switches, and an LCD framebuffer. Additional functionality includes interrupts, system calls, and external build integration. Available for Windows and Linux, with macOS builds and experimental browser access, QtRvSim supports hands-on processor architecture learning.
