Gradelink SIS

Pros: I use Gradelink every day as a Teacher. Our school uses it for attendance daily. I also use it to announce upcoming assignments and to record all of my students grades. It also keeps track of incomplete assignments.

I really like using Gradelink for communicating with parents and students. A nice detail is is that these messages also go to our administration.

Cons: I have not experienced cons with Gradelink yet. Very positive over the past two years.

Pros: Very easy to learn and use. It has all the needed parts to have a school run efficiently and accurately. Its cost is good for the size any type of school we have in Indiana.

Cons: At times the yearly change can be hard. I like to set up the coming year in the early summer.

Overall: It is a good product and works well with state needed forms as well as its ease of use. If you have any issues, they have many online tutorials that go through the process in a visual manor in which my secretary and teachers love.

Pros: Gradelink allows the teachers and the office to enter information that can be used for reports, audits, budgets, and much more. The Smart Send feature allows us to communicate with our students and parents via email, text, and voice messaging. Report cards and transcripts are professional and easy to read. Gradelink continues to look for ways to improve their software to keep up with the needs of the teachers, students, and office staff.

Cons: Gradelink continues to improve its products, however, the training videos could be updated to reflect the new offerings.

Overall: We are extremely pleased with the Gradelink software. We especially appreciate how easy it is to get help from their support team when needed.

Pros: My school has been using Gradelink for quite a few years now, and it keeps improving. It is so nice to not have to sit and calculate grades manually at the end of each grading period. If anyone is missing assignments and I have used the "IC" for that assignment, it's easy to print out whatever assignments are missing. I also like the way the parents and students can also keep track of how they are doing and how parents can set up automatic emails for certain grades--both good and not so good ones. If I need to contact a parent, I can easily do it through Gradelink.
Gradelink keeps improving and adding other helpful tools for teachers and office workers.

Cons: It would be nice if when the attendance is done initially in homeroom, other teachers could see who was absent or may be in later on their individual class attendance page for that subject. Our secretary puts notes in but we don't see that on the attendance page--we can only see it on the grading page.

Overall: Gradelink has simplified keeping track of grades, students, contact info, and attendance much easier. I have used this for many years and continually see the company always working to improve the program.

Pros: Gradelink has allowed me to streamline and stay on top of my assignment grading. I love their product!

Cons: I wish I could I close more feedback on specific assignments I am grading. This would streamline my feedback to students.

Overall: Overall I am very pleased with the Gradelink product! I’m thankful for a reliable produce that can assist me with managing my class metrics

Pros: The platform is very easy to use for parents and for school users. The reports we can create from it are very useful.

Cons: I would like it to be more mobile-friendly. Meaning, that parents can complete the online registration from their mobile devices.

Overall: Gradelink overall is a great platform. Many features on it. Always adding more options for the classroom setting.

Pros: I appreciate the ease of use, the cost factor, and the ability to communicate with parents regarding attendance, emergency situations, grades, and general information.

Cons: Initially, it takes time to enroll students, but once that is completed, new enrollments take very little time.

Overall: Gradelink has provided us with necessary services at a reasonable price. The key elements that are helpful are the training videos and the prompt replies by their support staff.

Pros: The program is very easy to use. It provides great video tutorials. I would highly recommend the product.

Pros: Gradelink makes running a school the easiest part of my job daily! From student & family information gathering & management, to attendance and grade tracking, to form submission and general communication, Gradelink gives you the tools to be confident and very successful. Need to find a phone number? Done. Need to print a transcript or update a permanent record? Done. Re-enrollment using completely online methods and doing away with the mounds of paperwork? Done. I have used other school management software, and Gradelink surpasses them all!

Cons: When first using Gradelink, like any other new product you hope for good training tips, videos and live support. Initially I would say that this area was lacking a bit. But in the time I have been a user, these concerns have been addressed sufficiently and have become a strong suit of Gradelink’s management platform.

Overall: In conclusion, I would rate Gradelink a 4.95 out of 5 stars, if that were the grading scale used. No product is perfect, but I have seen firsthand the attention to our school concerns and the willingness to work together to solve issues and move forward in a positive direction. I highly recommend Gradelink for consideration, whether you are using a different platform or seeking your first school management system!

Pros: I love how I can easily put in grades and email either whole classes or individual students. I love how Gradelink lets me send the same email to students one at a time so as to avoid repeatedly typing.

Cons: Gradelink is either very difficult to find the report I am looking for or it is not user friendly enough. I have had difficulty trying to find the report that graphs a student's progress. This is VERY helpful to show parents.

Overall: I love that we are using this system for our school. It is extremely easy to put in grades, and to email either a whole class of students or individual students.

Pros: I love how I can store all my student’s data into Gradelink like their personal information, attendance, grades etc. It also has opportunities for teachers to post content in terms of lesson plans and worksheets!

Cons: The only thing I didn’t like was losing my teacher pages after a year, I wish there was a way to store them for multiple years.

Overall: My overall experience has been amazing! Gradelink has changed my life in terms of organization and productivity!

Pros: I liked having one place to go to complete lesson plans, enter grades. and communicate with parents.

Cons: I haven't figured out how to transfer my lesson plans from one year to the next.

Overall: This is a fantastic program. Before this, I was pencil and paper for my lesson plans, parent communication, and grade book.

Pros: This program is very simple to use. The accessibility of parents and teachers alike is second to none!! Tech support is phenomenal as well. If there is something that doesn't seem to work as we need, the tech team works to make it work to the best of their ability.

Cons: Sometimes we have issues with the program working. I think its primarily a tech issue, but overall it is great.

Overall: Gradelink has been a fantastic addition to our school's communication. Parents can easily access the information needed, and it has streamlined school wide and class wide communications. 100 percent pleased!!!

Pros: Best software and customer service indeed - Gradelink.com is easy to use, with minimal training needed for parents and teachers. Set-up is a breeze and the BEST part is the near-instant customer service that is available through their website, via email or over the phone.

Cons: Parents can make better use of the site, through no fault of Gradelink.

Overall: Great experience, great useful site with more and more features regularly added based on the needs and real-world uses of the site.

Overall: We've used a couple other SIS, and we love Gradelink. It is easy to learn, easy to use, and does what we need for our school.

Cons: -There can be a bit of a learning curve for certain communication features, but the videos provided explain it well (when watched).

Overall: Very positive experience and would recommend it to other organizations over competitors. The work flow is easy to understand and all levels of administration can make use of the product. The integration with other services, like Google Classroom, help teachers submit their grades easily.

Overall: We have used Gradelink for at least five years and have enjoyed it immensely. Enroll Me and the prospective form that is on the school website keeps everything streamlined.

Pros: I like the communication part of Gradelink. I can send emails to parents without giving my personal email. The features allow me to modify the recipients in an easy format. I also like the grade book. It’s easy to update.

Cons: It is very difficult to get someone on the line, when you need help. Even emails aren’t returned quickly.

Overall: Overall, I like Gradelink. It was helpful during Covid to set up teacher pages and upload assignments and lesson plans.

Pros: I have been using Gradelink for over ten years. Easy to use and never have any problems with it! Would recommended it highly to other schools.

Cons: Can’t think of anything I dislike about Gradelink.

Overall: Happy customer and I will continue to use Gradelink and recommend it to other admin and educators.

Pros: I thoroughly enjoy the ability to access Gradelink easily and the ability to use it daily with little to no issues. From daily routines of putting in attendance to inputting grades, I find Gradelink extremely user-friendly. Now that I'm in an administrative role my ability to roll over from term to term or from school year to school year can happen within the click of a button. I feel like the features that Gradelink is including are only making the software better and better.

Cons: Maybe more step by step or training for teachers that may not be as tech-savvy. Issues we had from the grading scale being American and our school being Canadian, was solved, which I truly appreciate.

Overall: Overall Gradelink is great and really allows us as a small school to be successful, also the technical support staff are extremely helpful.
