The VSCodium project exists so that you don’t have to download+build from source. This project includes special build scripts that clone Microsoft’s vscode repo, run the build commands, and upload the resulting binaries for you to GitHub releases. These binaries are licensed under the MIT license. Telemetry is disabled. If you want to build from source yourself, head over to Microsoft’s vscode repo and follow their instructions. VSCodium exists to make it easier to get the latest version of MIT-licensed VSCode. Please note that some Visual Studio Code extensions have licenses that restrict their use to the official Visual Studio Code builds and therefore do not work with VSCodium. -

YAML
JavaScript parser and stringifier for YAML
yaml is a definitive library for YAML, the human friendly data serialization standard. This library supports both YAML 1.1 and YAML 1.2 and all common data schemas, passes all of the yaml-test-suite tests. It can accept any string as input without throwing, parsing as much YAML out of it as it can, and supports parsing, modifying, and writing YAML comments and blank lines. The library is released under the ISC open source license, and the code is available on GitHub. It has no external dependencies and runs on Node.js as well as modern browsers. For the purposes of versioning, any changes that break any of the endpoints or APIs documented here will be considered semver-major breaking changes. Undocumented library internals may change between minor versions, and previous APIs may be deprecated (but not removed). The minimum supported TypeScript version of the included typings is 3.9; for use in earlier versions you may need to set skipLibCheck: true in your config. -

Inkdown (bluestone) is a Markdown reading, editing, and sharing tool. Almost fully compatible with the GitHub Flavored Markdown standard, while extending the Mermaid graphics and Katex formula, supporting light and dark styles, and somewhat different from other WYSIWYG editors, Inkdown does not pursue complete customization. Notable provides a very powerful Markdown editor, it's the same one VS Code uses in fact, so features like multi-cursors, a minimap and best-in-class syntax highlighting are built-in. Notes and attachments are simply stored on your disk, this is extremely portable and powerful: you could edit your notes via a third-party editor on mobile, have them synchronized via Dropbox, use Git, run a regex-based search and replace etc. A dark theme is also available. In the future support for custom themes will be added as well. Zen mode provides a minimalistic editing and reading experience, hiding everything that's not necessary.
