SoloMD

SoloMD is an open-source, local-first Markdown editor and AI-powered knowledge management application. It stores notes as ordinary Markdown files, allowing users to maintain full control over their documents. The editor supports live formatting, split panes, mathematical expressions, diagrams, and interconnected notes. Its built-in MCP server enables AI assistants such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor to search and manage Markdown collections. An integrated agent panel provides contextual conversations with notes and AI-assisted writing tools. Users can connect multiple AI providers using their own API keys or run local models through Ollama. Scheduled AI workflows automate tasks such as summarization, translation, and note organization. Additional features include semantic search, relationship graphs, Git-based version history, and optional encrypted synchronization.
