A quality control analysis tool for high throughput sequencing data
FastQC is a quality control analysis tool designed to spot potential problems in high throughput sequencing datasets. Its goal is to provide a simple way by which to check the quality of raw sequence data coming from high throughput sequencing pipelines. It does this by running a modular set of analyses on one or more raw sequence files in fastq or bam format. It then produces a report summarizing the results, and highlighting any areas where the library may appear unusual. This should then direct you to where your data may have problems and allow you to take necessary steps to correct it before doing any further analysis. FastQC is not tied to any specific type of sequencing technique, so it can be used to look at libraries of various experiment types (Genomic Sequencing, ChIP-Seq, RNA-Seq, BS-Seq etc etc). -

IEDExplorer is an IEC 61850 client tool written for testing and educational purposes. IEDExplorer can connect to an IEC61850 device (also called an IED) over MMS (ISO/IEC9506-1 and ISO/IEC 9506-2) communication protocol. The tool is written in pure C# including the MMS ASN.1 parser (based on BinaryNotes ASN.1 tool) and runs in .net environment, on Windows. The StarFishDAQ (or SFDQ for short) is a platform for developing MCU based hardware without having to start from scratch. It consists of hardware, firmware and software components. The SFDQ allows those projects that would otherwise use an off-the-shelf DAQ, PLC or MCU SBC to start with a stack of hardware, firmware and software. This allows more control, customization, and future applicability without sinking a ton of effort. The SFDQ can be used simply and quickly, as-is in proof-of-concent experiments and protoypes. Another use is to customize the design by removing features that are unneeded for a project, adding new, specific features and designing custom versions for a project. A hybrid approach is also useful: adding custom hardware to an expansion PCB, while using the vanilla PCB as is. All approaches result in a faster bring-up with more focus on project specific features, and less on table-stakes tech. -

Card generator for the russian L1-3/L3-3 tube tester. WARNING: The software is still in alpha state, so there are definitely some bugs. If you want to use the created cards for real tests, check them manually with EXTREME care first .. else damage or destruction of your tester can easily occur. ESPECIALLY check if multiple conflicting functions are assigned to the same line (by looking on the universal card), which would lead to shorts. No warranties of any kind! Use at your own risk! Most of the old bugs should (still, no guarantees) be fixed by now and lots of functionality added. I created a good amount of cards for myself and they were all fine, so I deceided to make a public alpha release again. I also added a short manual including a few examples. IMPORTANT: Unfortunately life circumstances changed and I'm also not really using those testers anymore, so I'm not really able to maintain it. Feel free to fork if you want to, I would love to see it kept alive. -

This project is the MATLAB development of a virtual sound level meter. The program will read in a calibrated .wav file and allow the user to analyze it as one would analyze a sound field with a sound level meter. The software implements Fast, Slow, Impulse and LEQ; A, C and Flat Weighting; Ln and Noise Dose analysis; Octave and 1/3 Octave band analysis; high resolution FFT analysis and spectrograms. Band analysis can be made using fast FFT methods or slower, but ANSI standard methods. Source code requires MATLAB + Signal Processing Toolbox. Developed under MATLAB R2010a (but might work with some earlier versions) Executable version does not require MATLAB and runs under Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7. -
