    Data Envelopment Analysis using Stata

    Data Envelopment Analysis using Stata

Develop a user written Data Envelopment Analysis package in Stata.

...This is the replacement of "deastata" project that we maintained for the purpose of version management. We call the program package "DEAS" which stands for Data Envelopment Analysis using Stata. DEAS covers the basic models of DEA and extensions including CCR, BCC, SBM, Super-efficiency Model, Allocative Model(Profit, Revenue, Cost), (Global) Malmquist Productivity Index Model, Imprecise DEA, FDH, Additive Model, Virtual Price Model, linear programming(lp), mixed integer linear programming(MILP), and more. * Book "A Handbook of Data Envelopment Analysis using Stata" published in Amazon : https://www.amazon.com/-/ko/dp/B0FH6N3168/ref=tmm_hrd_swatch_0

    PlanetPack

    PlanetPack

Radial-velocity & transits analysis tool for exoplanets

PlanetPack is a software tool developed to facilitate the radial-velocity time-series analysis for the goal of exoplanets detection, characterization, and basic dynamical simulations. The description of the main theoretic concepts, statistical methods and algorithms that PlanetPack implements, is given in the following refereed papers: R.V. Baluev 2013, Astronomy & Computing, V. 2, P. 18 (initial release); R.V. Baluev 2018, Astronomy & Computing, V. 25, P. 221 (update 3.0). The technical manual explaining the details of the practical use is available in the download archive here (see the /doc/ subfolder).

    SWire

    SWire

A Stata plugin for connecting Stata with other software

...For example, a web application running on a browser can interact with Stata on a local network; this application could be a data entry form or an automatic report. By providing a communication protocol, SWire makes it possible to connect Stata with many other applications for data exchange and basic interaction, thereby extending the capabilities of Stata. SWire requires Stata >=13.

    SWire4R

    SWire4R

An R package enabling R to interact with Stata for data exchange

...SWire is a plugin for Stata >=13 which acts like a server: client applications can query SWire for interacting with Stata. SWire4R acts like a client application for Swire, providing the user with various basic functions for retrieving data from Stata and exporting data to Stata. SWire4R must be compiled by R. BiomeNet

BAYESIAN INFERENCE OF METABOLIC DIVERGENCE AMONG MICROBIAL COMMUNITIES

...Here, we describe a novel hierarchical Bayesian model, called BiomeNet (Bayesian inference of metabolic networks), for inferring differential prevalence of metabolic networks among microbial communities. To infer the structure of community-level metabolic interactions, BiomeNet applies a mixed-membership modelling framework to enzyme abundance information. The basic idea is that the mixture components of the model (metabolic reactions, subnetworks, and networks) are shared across all groups (microbiome samples), but the mixture proportions vary from group to group. Through this framework, the model can capture nested structures within the data. BiomeNet is unique in modeling each metagenome sample as a mixture of complex metabolic systems (metabosystems).

    MRA

    MRA

A general recommender system with basic models and MRA

Multi-categorization Recommendation Adjusting (MRA) is to optimize the results of recommendation based on traditional(basic) recommendation models, through introducing objective category information and taking use of the feature that users always get the habits of preferring certain categories. Besides this, there are two advantages of this improved model: 1) it can be easily applied to any kind of existing recommendation models. And 2) a controller is set in this improved model to provide controllable adjustment range, which thereby makes it possible to provide optional modes of recommendation aiming different kinds of users.

    datadensityplot

Creates a data density plot of a 2 dimensional data distribution.

Shows the data density of a 2 dimensional distribution. The problem of showing data density visually is not mathematically well defined, and there are several methods. The program uses sum of reciprocal squared distance to calculate density at each point, with a smear factor to prevent points going to infinity. The smear factor also controls the amount of clustering. There are several options for colour output. Input is via a csv (comma-separated values) file. Now there's a nice GUI...
