    JDA Java Discord API

    JDA Java Discord API

Java wrapper for the popular chat & VOIP service

JDA strives to provide a clean and full wrapping of the Discord REST api and its Websocket-Events for Java. This library is a helpful tool that provides the functionality to create a discord bot in java. Discord is currently prohibiting creation and usage of automated client accounts (AccountType.CLIENT). We have officially dropped support for client login as of version 4.2.0! Note that JDA is not a good tool to build a custom discord client as it loads all servers/guilds on startup unlike a client which does this via lazy loading instead. If you need a bot, use a bot account from the Application Dashboard.

    Jaeger

    Jaeger

Monitor and troubleshoot transactions in complex distributed systems

As on-the-ground microservice practitioners are quickly realizing, the majority of operational problems that arise when moving to a distributed architecture are ultimately grounded in two areas: networking and observability. It is simply an orders of magnitude larger problem to network and debug a set of intertwined distributed services versus a single monolithic application. Jaeger, inspired by Dapper and OpenZipkin, is a distributed tracing system released as open source by Uber Technologies. It is used for monitoring and troubleshooting microservices-based distributed systems. OpenTracing compatible data model and instrumentation libraries include Go, Java, Node, Python, C++ and C#. Jaeger uses consistent upfront sampling with individual per service/endpoint probabilities and it has multiple storage backends: Cassandra, Elasticsearch, memory.

    Jasmine

    Jasmine

    A JavaScript Testing Framework

Jasmine is a behavior-driven JavaScript development framework for running both browser and Node.js tests. It’s been tested to work on most versions of popular browsers including Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer. Jasmine does not rely on any other JavaScript frameworks, browsers or DOM, making it suitable for websites, Node.js projects, or just about anywhere that JavaScript can run. Jasmine has everything you need out of the box to test your code, yet retains a low overhead and absolutely no external dependencies. This means, of course, that it is fast. It has a clean, obvious syntax that makes writing tests a breeze.

    Java Design Patterns

    Design patterns implemented in Java

A comprehensive, community-maintained collection of design pattern implementations in Java, offering well-documented, educational examples to help developers understand and apply common architectural solutions. All designs should be as simple as possible. You should start with KISS, YAGNI, and Do The Simplest Thing That Could Possibly Work principles. Complexity and patterns should only be introduced when they are needed for practical extensibility. The design patterns are now available as an e-book. Design patterns can speed up the development process by providing tested, proven development paradigms.

    Jenkins Docker

    Jenkins Docker

    Docker jenkins repo

The Jenkins Continuous Integration and Delivery server available on Docker Hub. The leading open source automation server, Jenkins provides hundreds of plugins to support building, deploying and automating any project. If you bind mount in a volume, you can simply back up that directory (which is jenkins_home) at any time. This is highly recommended. Treat the jenkins_home directory as you would a database, in Docker you would generally put a database on a volume. If your volume is inside a container, you can use a Docker command to extract the data, or other options to find where the volume data is. Note that some symlinks on some OSes may be converted to copies (this can confuse jenkins with lastStableBuild links etc). You can define the number of executors on the Jenkins built-in node using a groovy script. By default it is set to 2 executors, but you can extend the image and change it to your desired number of executors.

    JiraCLI

    JiraCLI

    Feature-rich interactive Jira command line

JiraCLI is an interactive command line tool for Atlassian Jira that will help you avoid Jira UI to some extent. This tool is not yet considered complete but has all the essential features required to improve your workflow with Jira. The tool started with the idea of making issue search and navigation as straightforward as possible. However, with the help of outstanding supporters like you, we evolved, and the tool now includes all necessary features like issue creation, cloning, linking, ticket transition, and much more. Note that some features might work slightly differently in cloud installation versus on-premise installation due to the nature of the data. Yet, we've attempted to make the experience as similar as possible. jira-cli is available as a downloadable packaged binary for Linux, macOS, and Windows from the releases page.

    Kreuzberg

    Kreuzberg

    Polyglot document intelligence framework

Kreuzberg is a flexible task orchestration and agent workflow platform designed to help developers build, coordinate, and scale intelligent agents or automation pipelines that interact with external services, runtime environments, and multi-step business workflows. It emphasizes modular design so that developers can define discrete tasks or “actions” and then compose them into complex flows where dependencies, parallel steps, and error handling are declaratively managed. This structure makes it simpler to build resilient automation pipelines that span multiple technologies or APIs without needing to glue everything together manually. The platform also supports observability and monitoring, helping teams trace the progression of workflows, catch errors early, and evaluate performance trends in orchestrated systems.

    Kueue

    Kueue

    Kubernetes-native Job Queueing

Kueue is a set of APIs and controllers for job queueing. It is a job-level manager that decides when a job should be admitted to start (as in pods can be created) and when it should stop (as in active pods should be deleted). Use Kueue to build a multi-tenant batch service with quotas and a hierarchy for sharing resources among teams in your organization. Based on the available quotas, Kueue decides when jobs should wait and when and where they should run. Kueue works in combination with standard kube-scheduler, cluster-autoscaler, and the rest of the Kubernetes ecosystem. This combination allows Kueue to run both on-prem and in the cloud, where resources can be heterogeneous, fungible, and dynamically provisioned.

    Kysely

    Kysely

A type-safe typescript SQL query builder

Kysely (pronounce “Key-Seh-Lee”) is a type-safe and autocompletion-friendly typescript SQL query builder. Inspired by knex. Mainly developed for node.js but also runs on deno and in the browser. Kysely makes sure you only refer to tables and columns that are visible to the part of the query you're writing. The result type only has the selected columns with correct types and aliases. As an added bonus you get autocompletion for all that stuff. As shown in the gif above, through the pure magic of modern typescript, Kysely is even able to parse the alias given to pet.name and add the pet_name column to the result row type. Kysely is able to infer column names, aliases and types from selected subqueries, joined subqueries, with statements and pretty much anything you can think of. Of course there are cases where things cannot be typed at compile time, and Kysely offers escape hatches for these situations.

    LTEX LS

    LTEX LS

LTeX Language Server: LSP language server for LanguageTool

LTEX LS (LTEX Language Server) implements a language server according to the Language Server Protocol (LSP) and provides grammar and spelling errors in markup documents (LATEX, Markdown, etc.). The documents are checked with LanguageTool. Typically, you start the language server (either locally or remotely), you send the language server your LATEX or Markdown document, and it will respond with a list of the grammar and spelling errors in it. To use LTEX LS in this way, you have to use a language client (usually an editor or an extension of the editor) that communicates with LTEX LS according to the LSP. However, it is also possible to supply LTEX LS paths to files and directories to be checked as command-line arguments. In this mode, LTEX LS will print the results to standard output, and no language client is necessary.

    Lexical

    Lexical

Lexical is an extensible text editor framework

An extensible text editor framework that does things differently. Lexical is comprised of editor instances that each attach to a single content editable element. A set of editor states represent the current and pending states of the editor at any given time. Lexical is designed for everyone. It follows best practices established in WCAG and is compatible with screen readers and other assistive technologies. Lexical is minimal. It doesn't directly concern itself with UI components, toolbars or rich-text features and markdown. The logic for these features can be included via a plugin interface. It's super easy to get started with Lexical in any environment. Lexical is framework agnostic, but provides a set of bindings for React to help you get off the ground even quicker. After the initial setup, delightfully ergonomic APIs make building custom functionality straightforward and downright fun!
