Watchdog comes with an optional utility script called watchmedo. Please type watchmedo --help at the shell prompt to know more about this tool. You can use the shell-command subcommand to execute shell commands in response to events. watchmedo can read tricks.yaml files and execute tricks within them in response to file system events. Tricks are actually event handlers that subclass watchdog.tricks.Trick and are written by plugin authors. Trick classes are augmented with a few additional features that regular event handlers don't need. The directory containing the tricks.yaml file will be monitored. Each trick class is initialized with its corresponding keys in the tricks.yaml file as arguments and events are fed to an instance of this class as they arrive. -

deej is an open-source hardware volume mixer for Windows and Linux PCs. It lets you use real-life sliders (like a DJ!) to seamlessly control the volumes of different apps (such as your music player, the game you're playing and your voice chat session) without having to stop what you're doing. Control your microphone's input level. Lightweight desktop client, consuming around 10MB of memory. Runs from your system tray. Helpful notifications to let you know if something isn't working. The sliders are connected to 5 (or as many as you like) analog pins on an Arduino Nano/Uno board. They're powered from the board's 5V output (see schematic). The board connects via a USB cable to the PC. The code running on the Arduino board is a C program constantly writing current slider values over its serial interface. The PC runs a lightweight Go client in the background. This client reads the serial stream and adjusts app volumes according to the given configuration file. -

gitbase, is a SQL database interface to Git repositories. This project is now part of source{d} Community Edition, which provides the simplest way to get started with a single command. It can be used to perform SQL queries about the Git history and about the Universal AST of the code itself. gitbase is being built to work on top of any number of git repositories. gitbase implements the MySQL wire protocol, it can be accessed using any MySQL client or library from any language. The project is currently in alpha stage, meaning it's still lacking performance in a number of cases but we are working hard on getting a performant system able to process thousands of repositories in a single node. nFPM is a simple, 0-dependencies, deb, rpm, apk, and Arch Linux packager. While fpm is great, for me, it is a bummer that it depends on ruby, tar and other software. I wanted something that could be used as a binary and/or as a library and that was really simple. So I decided to create nFPM: a simpler, 0-dependency, as-little-assumptions-as-possible alternative to fpm. This is a subtle way of saying it won't have all features, nor all formats that fpm has: it is supposed to be simpler. And that's OK!, most of us don't need all those features most of the time. You create a YAML file with the definition of what you need, run the nfpm binary, and it takes care of everything. The same config file can be used to create both the RPM and Deb packages. -

If you don't have a supported OS or processor architecture, or you use --build-from-source, the module will be compiled on your system. This requires several dependencies, including Cairo and Pango. Note that libgif/giflib, librsvg and libjpeg are optional and only required if you need GIF, SVG and JPEG support, respectively. Cairo v1.10.0 or later is required. This project is an implementation of the Web Canvas API and implements that API as closely as possible. For API documentation, please visit Mozilla Web Canvas API. (See Compatibility Status for the current API compliance.) All utility methods and non-standard APIs are documented. When MIME data is tracked, PDF canvases can embed JPEGs directly into the output, rather than re-encoding into PNG. This can drastically reduce filesize and speed up rendering. If working with a non-PDF canvas, image data must be tracked, otherwise the output will be junk. -

OpenCV wrapper for .NET. Some Docker images are provided to use OpenCvSharp with AppEngine Flexible. The native binding (libOpenCvSharpExtern) is already built in the docker image and you don't need to worry about it. OpenCvSharp won't work on Unity and Xamarin platform. For Unity, please consider using OpenCV for Unity or some other solutions. OpenCvSharp does not support CUDA. If you want to use the CUDA features, you need to customize the native bindings yourself. Objects of classes, such as Mat and MatExpr, have unmanaged resources and need to be manually released by calling the Dispose() method. Worst of all, the +, -, *, and other operators create new objects each time, and these objects need to be disposed of, or there will be memory leaks. Despite the using syntax, the code still looks very verbose. -

pikepdf is a Python library allowing the creation, manipulation, and repair of PDFs. It provides a Pythonic wrapper around the C++ PDF content transformation library, QPDF. Python + QPDF = “py” + “qpdf” = “pyqpdf”, which looks like a dyslexia test and is no fun to type. But say “pyqpdf” out loud, and it sounds like “pikepdf”. pikepdf is a library intended for developers who want to create, manipulate, parse, repair, and abuse the PDF format. It supports reading and write PDFs, including creating from scratch. Thanks to QPDF, it supports linearizing PDFs and access to encrypted PDFs.
