    System Design Primer

    System Design Primer

Learn how to design large-scale systems

System Design Primer is a curated, open source collection of resources that helps engineers learn how to design large-scale systems. The project is structured as a comprehensive guide covering core system design concepts, trade-offs, and patterns necessary for building scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems. It offers both theoretical foundations—such as scalability principles, the CAP theorem, and consistency models—and practical exercises, including real-world system design interview questions with sample solutions, diagrams, and code. The repository also contains study guides for short, medium, and long interview timelines, allowing learners to focus on both breadth and depth depending on their preparation needs. In addition, it includes flashcard decks designed to reinforce learning through spaced repetition, making it easier to retain key system design knowledge.

    agent-browser

    agent-browser

Browser automation CLI for AI agents

agent-browser is a toolkit that embeds AI agent capabilities directly into the web browser, enabling agents to interact with web content, scripts, and user actions while maintaining security boundaries that respect user privacy and browser constraints. It effectively provides a sandbox where AI agents can read, scroll, click, and interpret pages in context, allowing them to automate workflows, answer questions about page content, or generate structured summaries directly from the user’s current tab. The project emphasizes standards and safety, defining interfaces that let agents access DOM data, interpret events, and generate actionable insights without exposing sensitive credential-level access or violating policy boundaries. Users benefit from a tighter feedback loop: agents can observe user tasks in-situ and respond with contextually relevant actions or suggested steps, like form completion, navigation shortcuts, or detailed explanations of UI elements.

    nsisbi

NSISBI aims to remove the current 2GB limit found in NSIS.

NSISBI aims to remove the current 2GB limit found in NSIS. This version adds support for using a separate file for storing the install data, therefore allowing installer sizes up to a theoretical max size of 8EB (this is controlled by NSIS_CONFIG_EXTERNAL_FILE_SUPPORT, this is turned on by default). On versions before 7069-1, the compiler (makensis) is designed to run on 64 bit machines as this is the feature needed to make installers bigger than 2GB. On versions before 7208-1, source files added to the installer are limited to 2GB per file (this is controlled by NSIS_CONFIG_LARGE_FILE_SUPPORT, this is turned on by default). This project is the result of several different experiments focused on relieving the 2GB limit in NSIS, so it's still a work in progress. I'll try to keep it up to date with each major NSIS release.

    A-Frame

    A-Frame

A web framework for building virtual reality experiences

A-Frame is an open source web framework for building virtual reality experiences. With A-Frame you can create WebVR with HTML and entity-component works on Vive, Rift, Daydream and more. A-Frame simplifies virtual reality by handling the required 3D and WebVR boilerplate to get you running on platforms like mobile, desktop, Vive, and Rift. Because it can be used from HTML, just about everyone can use it. A-Frame is a thin yet powerful framework on top of three.js. While A-Frame is completely accessible from HTML, developers can also make full use of JavaScript, DOM APIs, three.js, WebVR, and WebGL.

    Apollo Server

    Apollo Server

Spec-compliant and production ready JavaScript GraphQL server

Apollo Server is an open-source, spec-compliant GraphQL server that's compatible with any GraphQL client, including Apollo Client. It's the best way to build a production-ready, self-documenting GraphQL API that can use data from any source. Apollo Server provides a simple API for integrating with any Node.js web framework or serverless environment. The @apollo/server package itself ships with a minimally-configurable, standalone web server that handles CORS and body parsing out of the box. Integrations with other environments are community-maintained. Apollo Server's standalone server lets you get a GraphQL server up and running quickly without needing to set up an HTTP server yourself. It allows all the same configuration of GraphQL logic as the Express integration, but does not provide the ability to make fine-grained tweaks to the HTTP-specific behavior of your server.

    Bot Framework Emulator

    Bot Framework Emulator

Locally test and debug chat bots built with the Bot Framework SDK

Bot Framework Emulator is a desktop application that allows bot developers to test and debug bots, either locally or remotely. Using the Emulator, you can chat with your bot and inspect the messages that your bot sends and receives. The Emulator displays messages as they would appear in a web chat UI and logs JSON requests and responses as you exchange messages with your bot. Before you deploy your bot to the cloud, run it locally and test it using the Emulator. You can test your bot using the Emulator even if you haven't yet created it with Azure Bot Service or configured it to run on any channels. Before connecting your bot to the Bot Framework Emulator, you need to run your bot locally. You can use Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code to run your bot, or use the command line. When you are developing behind a corporate proxy, the Emulator will use the configured environment variables HTTP_PROXY and HTTPS_PROXY, which specify the proxy URL route for HTTP and HTTPs requests.

    GAM

    GAM

Command line management for Google Workspace

GAM is a command line tool that allows administrators to manage many aspects of their Google Workspace (formerly G Suite / Google Apps) Account. This page provides simple instructions for downloading, installing and starting to use GAM. GAM requires paid (or Education/non-profit) editions of Google Workspace. G Suite Legacy Free Edition has limited API support and not all GAM commands work. While many GAM functions do not require domain administrative privileges, the setup does. Download GAM, then run the MSI installer. By default, GAM will install to C:\GAM but you can change this to wherever you prefer. GAM will also be added to your path so you can run GAM even if you're not in the GAM folder. At the end of the MSI install process, GAM will open a command prompt to allow you to setup a project and authorize GAM for admin management and user data/config access.

    Git Extensions

UI tool for managing git repositories

Git Extensions is a standalone UI tool for managing Git repositories. It also integrates with Windows Explorer and Microsoft Visual Studio (2015/2017/2019). The full commit history can be browsed. Branches are shown using a graph which highlights commits that are included in the current revision. Explore the history of single files. Renamed and moved files are matched and shown in a single history. You do not need to mark files as renamed/moved. The system detects renamed files automatically. Find the last person that edited a specific part of a file. Double click on the line shows the commit and allows you to drill-down to other files. Version 2.x of Git Extensions runs on multiple platforms using Mono. The active community of Git Extensions is supporting Git Extensions since 2008.
