    Google Cloud Dataflow Template Pipelines

    Google Cloud Dataflow Template Pipelines

Cloud Dataflow Google-provided templates for solving data tasks

DataflowTemplates is the source repository for Google-provided Dataflow templates that are intended to solve large-scale in-cloud data processing tasks without requiring users to build everything from scratch in a full development environment. The repository is centered on templated pipelines powered by Google Cloud Dataflow and Apache Beam, making it easier to run common integration and movement jobs such as data import, export, backup, restore, and bulk API operations. Its structure shows support for multiple generations of templates, including v1 and v2 implementations, as well as related metadata, YAML assets, plugins, and Python components that support broader template execution and maintenance. This design makes the project more than a sample set, because it acts as the implementation base for official Google-provided templates used in real cloud data workflows.

    GraphJin

    GraphJin

Build NodeJS / GO APIs in 5 minutes not weeks

GraphJin is a magical library that instantly converts simple GraphQL into fast and secure APIs. Works with NodeJS and GO. Supports Postgres, MySQL, Yugabyte, AWS Aurora/RDS and Google Cloud SQL. GraphJin gives you an instant secure and fast GraphQL API without code. Just use a GraphQL query to define your API and GraphJin automagically converts it into a full-featured API. Build your backend APIs 100X faster. Works with NodeJS and GO. Supports several databases, Postgres, MySQL, Yugabyte, AWS Aurora/RDS and Google Cloud SQL. In production, all queries are always read from locally saved copies not from what the client sends hence clients cannot modify the query. This makes GraphJin very secure as its similar to building APIs by hand. The idea that GraphQL means that clients can change the query as they wish does not apply to GraphJin.

    GraphQL Lighthouse

    GraphQL Lighthouse

A framework for serving GraphQL from Laravel

A framework for serving GraphQL from Laravel. Use the GraphQL Schema Definition Language to describe your data and add functionality through server-side directives. Build a GraphQL server on top of an existing Laravel application. Maximize code reuse and work with concepts you already know. Lighthouse leverages your existing models and creates optimized database queries out of the box. Define your schema without any boilerplate by using the GraphQL Schema Definition Language. In a GraphQL query, the client can get all the data they need - and no more - all in a single request. A GraphQL server can tell clients about its schema, so they will always know exactly what they will get. Updating between minor versions will not require changes to PHP code or the GraphQL schema and cause no breaking behavioural changes for consumers of the GraphQL API.

    Graphics Programming Black Book

    Graphics Programming Black Book

Markdown source for Michael Abrash's Graphics Programming Black Book

This is the source for an ebook version of Michael Abrash's Black Book of Graphics Programming (Special Edition), originally published in 1997 and released online for free in 2001. Reproduced with blessing of Michael Abrash, converted and maintained by James Gregory. The version which Michael and Dr. Dobbs released in 2001 was a collection of PDF files. That version is still available. However, the structure (multiple files) and the format (PDF) result in a poor user experience on an ebook reader or other mobile device. This version has been thoroughly cleaned of artifacts and condensed into something which can easily be converted into an ebook-friendly format. You can read this version online at GitHub, or download any of the EPUB or Mobi releases. You can clone the repository and generate your own version with pandoc if necessary.

    Hiring Without Whiteboards

    Hiring Without Whiteboards

Companies that don't have a broken hiring process

Hiring-without-whiteboards is a curated list of companies and teams that avoid traditional "whiteboard" interviews, instead focusing on realistic and practical evaluation methods. In this context, "whiteboards" symbolizes outdated or unhelpful computer science trivia questions often criticized in technical interviews. The project highlights organizations that emphasize interviewing techniques more aligned with actual day-to-day work, such as collaborative problem-solving, pair programming, or take-home assignments. It encourages a shift away from brainteasers, riddles, or puzzle-based interviews, which can create unnecessary barriers for candidates. The repository not only provides a resource for job seekers looking for fairer interview processes but also offers guidance for companies seeking to improve their hiring practices. With community contributions, it continues to grow as a reference for employers and applicants who value practical, respectful, & effective technical evaluation.

    Karpathy-Inspired Claude Code Guidelines

    Karpathy-Inspired Claude Code Guidelines

A single CLAUDE.md file to improve Claude Code behavior

Karpathy-Inspired Claude Code Guidelines is a curated learning and experimentation repository inspired by the work and teaching philosophy of Andrej Karpathy, designed to help learners build practical competence in deep learning, neural networks, and AI infrastructure. The project organizes a progressive path through exercises, notebooks, code examples, and practical mini-projects that echo Karpathy’s approach to “learning by doing,” where students build core concepts from first principles rather than consuming superficial abstractions. It covers topics like implementing backpropagation from scratch, understanding convolutional and recurrent networks, building simple training loops, and exploring real datasets with hands-on code. This collection makes abstract theoretical ideas concrete by walking learners through real code and tangible outcomes, helping demystify parts of machine learning that often feel opaque in purely textbook settings.

    Kitten

    Kitten

A statically typed concatenative systems programming language

Kitten is an experimental, concatenative programming language that blends Forth/Joy-style stack programming with modern static typing and effect tracking. Programs are composed by chaining small words that transform a typed stack, and the compiler uses type inference to ensure compositions are valid. The language explores disciplined handling of side effects, aiming to separate pure transformations from operations that perform I/O or mutate state. Its design encourages small, reusable building blocks that compose cleanly, while still permitting low-level control where performance matters. The implementation targets efficient compiled code and investigates how advanced type systems can improve reliability in a stack-based language. As a research project, Kitten serves both as a language to experiment with and as a vehicle for ideas about safety and structure in concatenative programming.

    LLM Datasets

    LLM Datasets

Curated list of datasets and tools for post-training

LLM Datasets curates and standardizes datasets commonly used to train and fine-tune large language models, reducing the overhead of hunting down sources and normalizing formats. The repository aims to make datasets easy to inspect and transform, with scripts for downloading, deduping, cleaning, and converting to formats like JSONL that slot into training pipelines. It highlights instruction-tuning and conversation-style corpora while also pointing to code, math, or domain-specific sets for targeted capabilities. Quality is a recurring theme: examples and utilities help filter low-value samples, enforce length limits, and split train/validation consistently so results are comparable. Licensing and provenance are surfaced to encourage compliant usage and to guide dataset selection in commercial settings. For practitioners, the repo is a practical “starting pantry” that accelerates experimentation and helps keep data wrangling from dominating the project timeline.
