    Ratchet

    Ratchet

Build mobile apps with simple HTML, CSS, and JavaScript components

Ratchet is designed to respond to touch events from a mobile device. Enable touch event emulation in Chrome (found in the overrides tab in the web inspector preferences). Use a JavaScript library like fingerblast.js to emulate touch events (ideally only loaded from desktop devices). Ratchet is downloadable in two forms, within which you'll find directories and files, logically grouping common resources and providing both compiled and minified variations. The most basic form of Ratchet is the grouping of the precompiled files for quick drop-in usage in nearly any web project. We provide compiled CSS and JS (ratchet.*), as well as compiled and minified CSS and JS (ratchet.min.*). The Ratchicon fonts are included, as are the Android and iOS platform themes. The Ratchet source code download includes the precompiled CSS, JavaScript, and font assets. Provides design patterns that serve as basic building blocks.

    React Native Detour

SDK for handling deferred deep links in React Native

React Native Detour is an SDK for handling deferred deep links in React Native applications. It helps apps understand where users should land after installation, even when the original link was opened before the app existed on the device. This is useful for onboarding flows, referral campaigns, shared content links, invite systems, and marketing attribution. The SDK is designed to connect React Native apps with Detour credentials and platform-level integration. It gives developers runnable examples so they can test linking behavior in realistic app scenarios. React Native Gesture Handler

    React Native Gesture Handler

Declarative API exposing platform native touch and gesture system

React Native Gesture Handler is a gesture system for building smooth touch interactions in React Native apps. It replaces the limitations of the standard JavaScript responder system with native-driven gesture recognition. This allows gestures to be tracked on the UI thread, making touch behavior more reliable during animations, scrolling, and complex interactions. The library is especially useful for apps that need swipes, pans, taps, long presses, drag gestures, and nested gesture handling. It integrates closely with React Native Reanimated, making it a common foundation for high-performance mobile interfaces. Its main value is helping developers create fluid, deterministic, platform-native gesture experiences without manually fighting React Native’s default touch system.

    React Native Module for CodePush

    React Native Module for CodePush

    React Native module for CodePush

This plugin provides client-side integration for the CodePush service, allowing you to easily add a dynamic update experience to your React Native app(s). A React Native app is composed of JavaScript files and any accompanying images, which are bundled together by the packager and distributed as part of a platform-specific binary (i.e. an .ipa or .apk file). Once the app is released, updating either the JavaScript code (e.g. making bug fixes, adding new features) or image assets, requires you to recompile and redistribute the entire binary, which of course, includes any review time associated with the store(s) you are publishing to. The CodePush plugin helps get product improvements in front of your end users instantly, by keeping your JavaScript and images synchronized with updates you release to the CodePush server. This way, your app gets the benefits of an offline mobile experience, as well as the "web-like" agility of side-loading updates as soon as they are available.

    React Native Navigation

    React Native Navigation

A complete native navigation solution for React Native

React Native Navigation is a module, dependent on and intended to be used alongside React Native, so some experience with it and knowledge of core concepts is required. We also assume you are working on a Mac with XCode and Android Studio installed and setup. You can also make it work in a Linux distribution, of course, but in that case bear in mind that some sections of the docs that deal with iOS might not be relevant to you. When your app is launched for the first time, the bundle is parsed and executed. At this point you need to display your UI. To do so, listen to the appLaunched event and call Navigation.setRoot when that event is received. When your app is launched, RN makes sure JS context (which is what enables you to execute JavaScript code) is running. There are quite a few differences between iOS and Android in this regard.

React Native SVG provides SVG support for React Native across iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, and web-compatible environments. It lets developers render scalable vector graphics using React components instead of relying only on static image assets. The library supports many common SVG elements and properties, including shapes, paths, gradients, clipping, masking, and text-related features. It is useful for icons, illustrations, charts, logos, dynamic graphics, and animated vector UI. Developers can also convert SVG markup into React Native SVG components, which helps bring existing design assets into mobile projects. Its main value is making vector graphics flexible, scalable, and programmable inside React Native apps.

    React Native Screens

    React Native Screens

Native navigation primitives for your React Native app

React Native Screens exposes native navigation container primitives to React Native applications. It is not mainly intended as a standalone app-facing library, but as a foundation used by full navigation systems. By relying on native screen containers, it can improve memory usage, navigation performance, and platform consistency. The library is commonly used with React Navigation and native stack navigators. It supports modern navigation patterns such as stacks, modals, headers, and sheet-style presentations. Its main value is helping React Native navigation feel closer to native iOS and Android behavior while improving efficiency behind the scenes.

    React Native Shine

    React Native Shine

Fast and efficient way to add interactive GPU-based shader effects

React Native Shine is a library for adding interactive, shader-driven visual effects to React Native interfaces. It uses GPU execution through native bindings, which makes it better suited for rich effects than approaches that depend heavily on the JavaScript thread. The project is designed for shiny, dynamic, creative UI interactions such as lighting, reflective surfaces, animated highlights, and touch-responsive visuals. It depends on React Native Reanimated, React Native Worklets, React Native WGPU, and TypeGPU, placing it within Software Mansion’s modern GPU and animation ecosystem. React Native Shine is especially useful for apps that want premium visual polish without manually writing every low-level GPU detail. Its main value is making advanced shader-based interface effects easier to integrate into React Native apps.

    React Native Vector Icons

    React Native Vector Icons

Customizable Icons for React Native with full styling

Perfect for buttons, logos and nav/tab bars. Easy to extend, style and integrate into your project. If you want to use any of the bundled icons, you need to add the icon fonts to your Xcode project. For each platform (iOS/Android/Windows) you plan to use, follow one of the options for the corresponding platform. Upgrading this package often requires the font files linked to your projects to be updated as well. If the automatic linking works for you, running this again should update the fonts. You can either use one of the bundled icons supported or roll your own custom font. Since Icon builds on top of the Text component, most style properties will work as expected, you might find it useful to play around with background color, border width, border color, border radius, padding, margin, color, font size, etc.

    ReactXP

    ReactXP

    Library for cross-platform app development

ReactXP builds on the popular React JS and React Native frameworks. Share most of your code between the web, iOS, Android, and Windows. Create great-looking, responsive web pages and mobile apps that feel native. With React and React Native, your web app can share most its logic with your iOS and Android apps, but the view layer needs to be implemented separately for each platform. We have taken this a step further and developed a thin cross-platform layer we call ReactXP. If you write your app to this abstraction, you can share your view definitions, styles and animations across multiple target platforms. Of course, you can still provide platform-specific UI variants, but this can be done selectively where desired. ReactXP is designed with cross-platform development in mind. In general, it exposes APIs, components, props, styles and animation parameters that are implemented in a consistent way across React JS (HTML) and React Native for iOS and Android.
