Open Source Android Virtual Machine Apps

X11-Basic is a dialect of the BASIC programming language with graphics capability that integrates features like shell scripting, cgi-Programming and full graphical visualisation into the easy to learn basic language on modern computers.

Instructions: After starting this VM, enable the Play Store app, by clicking the Settings -> Apps -> Play Store -> Enable. Then, Launch Play Store App, by clicking the 3 vertical dots icon, at the bottom of desktop. Then download whatever app is needed from the Play Store. Quickly, Cancel any automatic downloads of Play Store app ( itself ), from the notification drawer, as this will prevent it from its future working. Disable the Play Store app, after your other app installs are completed. Increase CPU Count and Memory in VM's Settings, as required, for better performance. If you are very new to virtual machines, then please refer the Wiki Page for its setup instructions, for all major operating systems. This VM is created for 2 reasons: 1. Very little initial setup work required to Develop / Test / Deploy a Dynamic Web Application live, within minutes. 2. This system should keep running for Years, without requiring Updates / Breakages. If you are new to Virtual Machines, then please watch the Video below ( taken from my other sample PHP project called teamdocs. You may cleanup this Application from the htdocs home folder link & its corresponding database, after logging into mysql. The mysql root login credentials, sample .mysql_history, sample .bash_history are all kept intact for quick references in the home folder. These files can be edited using the free FileZilla ftp client software. This is also explained in the video below. ) Once setup & running, please ensure that a Backup of the system, is taken regularly, to avoid any issues. These are covered in the video. The Ring is a practical general-purpose multi-paradigm language. The supported programming paradigms are imperative, procedural, object-oriented, declarative using nested structures, functional, meta programming and natural programming. The language is portable (MS-DOS, Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, WebAssembly, Microcontrollers, etc.) and can be used to create Console, GUI, Web, Games and Mobile applications. The language is designed to be simple, small and flexible. Ring is distributed as a Free-Open Source project under the MIT License.

Just replace td with lapp wherever mentioned ) Upload your PHP Files using the free FileZilla ftp client software, to this server called lapp.local and also connect to its postgresql db, using the free pgadmin gui client, from any PC on your LAN. After the application / database is ready, you can access it using https://lapp.local from any LAN PC. Backup the system regularly to avoid any issues. These are covered in the video. Dow load and boot ISO or IMG images from distrowatch and boot them in a virtual PC environment. Currently the app supports about 90 different linux iso's out of the box but feel free to use this tool to test your own iso's (windows 10, 11, PE, etc). This is my way of attempting to inplement what 've learned in the past 10 months with stuff that I already know well. Binary Modular DataFlow Machine (BMDFM) is a software package that enables running an application in parallel on shared memory symmetric multiprocessing (SMP) computers using the multiple processors to speed up the execution of single applications. BMDFM automatically identifies and exploits parallelism due to the static and mainly dynamic scheduling of the dataflow instruction sequences derived from the formerly sequential program. The BMDFM dynamic scheduling subsystem performs a symmetric multiprocessing (SMP) emulation of a tagged-token dataflow machine to provide the transparent dataflow semantics for the applications. LiquidCore enables Node.js virtual machines to run inside Android and iOS apps. It provides a complete runtime environment, including a virtual file system. LiquidCore also provides a convenient way for Android developers to execute raw JavaScript inside of their apps, as iOS developers can already do natively with JavaScriptCore. One of the newest features in 0.7.0+ is the ability to automatically bundle JavaScript files in the application build process. This is configured in the gradle-config and/or pod-config steps above. The bundling options are stored in the local package.json file in the liquidcore property. Bundling is a convenient way to test and package your JavaScript projects. The bundler uses Metro to package up all of your required node modules into a single file that can be packaged as a resource in your app. If you are running on the Android Emulator or iOS Simulator, you can run a local server on your development machine and hot-edit your JavaScript code.

likeForth started out as a weekend challenge and is now a digital schrebergarten to me. It is inspired by sectorForth and project-k.js, many thanks to the developers! Included is a rather simple interpreter and a Forth compiler, which give you an interactive development environment. It doesn't contain most Forth words but will be extended from time to time. I hope, likeForth could be somewhat useful and is therefore published under MIT licence.
