    Gradle Play Publisher

    Gradle Play Publisher

GPP is Android's unofficial release automation Gradle Plugin

Gradle Play Publisher (GPP) is Android's unofficial release automation Gradle Plugin. It can do anything from building, uploading, and then promoting your App Bundle or APK to publishing app listings and other metadata. The first APK or App Bundle needs to be uploaded via the Google Play Console because registering the app with the Play Store cannot be done using the Play Developer API. For all subsequent uploads and changes, GPP may be used. To successfully upload apps to the Play Store, they must be signed with your developer key. Make sure you have a valid signing configuration. After you've gone through the Service Account setup, you should have a JSON file with your private key. GPP supports uploading both the App Bundle and APK. Once uploaded, GPP also supports promoting those artifacts to different tracks.

    KMM ViewModel

    KMM ViewModel

Library to share Kotlin ViewModels with SwiftUI

A library that allows you to share ViewModels between Android and iOS. The latest version of the library uses Kotlin version 1.9.22. Compatibility versions for older and/or preview Kotlin versions are also available. When subclassing your Kotlin ViewModel in Swift you might experience some issues in the way those ViewModels are cleared. Since currentTimeFlow is a StateFlow we don't ever expect it to fail, which is why we are using the assertNoFailure. However, in this case you'll notice that the publisher will fail with a JobCancellationException. The problem here is that before the TimeTravelViewModel is deinited it will already be cleared. Meaning the viewModelScope is cancelled and onCleared is called. This results in the Combine publisher outliving the underlying StateFlow collection.

    Mosby

    Mosby

Model-view-presenter and model-view-intent library for modern Android

Mosby is a model-view-presenter and model-view-intent library designed specifically for Android apps. Migrating a Mosby 2.x based app to Mosby 3.0 should be straightforward. Just replace all import statements of your app in android studio. Mosby has a plugin for Conductor. The aim of this library is to help you build modern android apps with a clean Model-View-Presenter architecture. Furthermore, Mosby helps you to handle screen orientation changes by introducing ViewState and retaining Presenters. At first glance Mosby looks a lot like a framework. There are some classes like MvpFragment you can extends from, but the point is that you don’t have to if you don’t want to. At it’s core Mosby is a tiny library based on delegation. So you don’t have to use MvpFragment if you don’t want to. You can use delegation and composition to integrate Mosby in your own development stack. Hence you are not caught into a frameworks boundaries and limits.

    Shadow

    Shadow

Zero reflection fully dynamic Android plugin framework

Shadow is an Android plug-in framework independently developed by Tencent, which has been tested by hundreds of millions of online users. Shadow not only shares the key code of plug-in technology with open source, but also completely shares all the designs required for online deployment. Reuse the source code of the independent installation App. The source code of the plug-in App can be installed and run normally. Zero reflection and no Hack implementation of plug-in technology. In theory, it has been determined that there is no need for compatible development of any system, and there is no hidden API call, which does not conflict with Google's strategy of restricting access to non-public SDK interfaces. It is difficult to implement a perfect plug-in framework at one time, but Shadow makes all these implementations dynamic so that the code of the plug-in framework becomes part of the plug-in.

    SkiaSharp

    SkiaSharp

SkiaSharp is a cross-platform 2D graphics API for .NET platforms

SkiaSharp is a cross-platform 2D graphics API for .NET platforms based on Google's Skia Graphics Library. It provides a comprehensive 2D API that can be used across mobile, server and desktop models to render images. Building SkiaSharp is mostly straight forward. The main issue is the multiple dependencies for each platform. However, these are easy to install as they are found on the various websites. If you are just working on managed code, it is even easier as there mays to skip all the native builds. Because there are multiple distros of Linux, and we cannot possibly support them all, we have a separate NuGet package that will contain the supported binaries for a few distros.
