    Statistics101 - Resampling Statistics

    Statistics101 - Resampling Statistics

Use simulation to perform statistical analyses.

Statistics101 is an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) that uses a simple, powerful language called “Resampling Stats” to develop Monte Carlo programs to analyze and solve statistical problems. The original Resampling Stats language and computer program were developed by Dr. Julian Simon (https://www.juliansimon.com/) and Peter Bruce (https://www.scientificamerican.com/author/peter-bruce/) as a new way to teach Statistics to social science students. Of course, social science students aren't the only ones who can benefit. Anyone who wants to learn statistics will find that the resampling approach helps in understanding statistical concepts from the simplest to the most difficult. In addition, professionals who want to use resampling, bootstrapping, or Monte Carlo simulations will find Statistics101 helpful. More information at https://statistics101.sourceforge.io/

    Waves FX

    Waves FX

Advanced 2D simulator for evolving harmonical waves.

WavesFX is a Java FX application to compute and represent with a very high precision harmonical waves evolving in space and time. The real-time motor is result of many years of investigation about the nature of the time. I decided to implement the philosophical motor in Java because of the cross-platform nature of the language. Some of the "normal" features are XY scalation, manual or mouse-assisted, translation of the XY axes, change of background colors, dynamic range X and DX, etc. The program is bi-threaded at run-time with 2 cooperative threads: background + foreground, that allows that all user-input parameters (including change of the virtual-time!) are automatically updated at run-time.

    endo-MCML

MC model of Endoscopic Optical Spectroscopy for tubular organ

We present a Monte Carlo static light migration model (Endo-MCML) to simulate endoscopic optical spectroscopy for tubular organs such as esophagus and colon or organs lying behind tubular organs like prostate. Differ from the well-known multi-layered slab tissue model (MCML), our model employs multi-layered hollow cylinder which emitting and receiving light both from the inner boundary to meet the conditions of endoscopy. Inhomogeneous sphere can also be added in tissue layers to model cancer or other abnormal changes. The Endo-MCML is based on the MCML while some key algorithms especially the boundary hitting judgment and the reflectance/transmittance calculation are developed to meet the condition of curved boundaries. This model can be used for the forward modeling of light transport during endoscopically diffuse optical spectroscopy, light scattescattering spectroscopy, reflectance spectroscopy and other static optical detection or imaging technologies.

a collection of small and medium-sized simulation programs that I made explicitely for dydactic and/or documentation purposes. Browse the files, don't click on widnload because there are multiple zips!! All are related to rigidbody dynamics used to make vehicle simulators in the simplest way. Other types of programs may figure too: Snake or Tetris in C for showing the C programming style opted for the other, more specific programs. Possibly this is a link for supplying material to some Wiki articles related to videogames and gamep-physics.

    libCIGI

C++ Library for the Common Image Generator Interface

libCIGI (library for Common Image Generator Interface) is a lightweight header only library that provides interfaces for communication between CIGI hosts and image generators. Currently versions 3.0, 3.2 and 3.3 are supported as well as support for the *draft* V4.0 CIGI standard. Additional functionality to the base packet interfaces is provided through external classes so that to the packet headers have no further dependencies. Packet processing is kept simple and a couple of simple helper functions / classes are provided in CIGIGeneric.h and some other headers to support this. Helpers are provided for version interpretation and conversion of packet parameters to text. Testing is supported using the boost test framework to develop unit tests for each of the packets. Because the library is header-only it can easily support many platforms / compilers but this has not yet been tested. Note: Currently the use of bitfields in the library may cause erroneous use in some compilers.

    particlevis

    A particle simulation visualization program

ParticleVis is a visualization tool specialized for loading and exploring particulate simulation data. It contains a set of features that enables powerful and useful visualizations of particle simulations to be quickly generated. Support is provided for visualization of hundreds of thousands of particles on commodity workstations, using OpenGL. Functionality includes data exploration, debugging of simulation output, and generation of presentation-quality imagery. The ability to visualize vector flow information in a variety of forms, such as arrow-lines, inscribed glyphs, and motion blurred particles, is particularly useful in the study of granular flows. User-generated information can be integrated into the visualization using features such as per-particle color maps and surface maps, per-region vector fields, and volumetric data.

    powerfactory-fmu

    powerfactory-fmu

The FMI++ PowerFactory FMU Export Utility

This project has been moved to: https://github.com/fmipp/powerfactory-fmu The FMI++ PowerFactory FMU Export Utility is a stand-alone tool for exporting FMUs for Co-Simulation (FMI Version 1.0 & 2.0) from DIgSILENT PowerFactory models. It is open-source (BSD-like license) and freely available. It is based on code from the FMI++ library and the Boost C++ libraries. The FMI++ PowerFactory FMU Export Utility provides a graphical user interface (new in version v1.0) and - alternatively - Python scripts that generate FMUs from certain PowerFactory models. Additional files (e.g., time series files) and start values for exported variables can be specified. Currently, two types of simulations are supported: In quasi-static steady-state simulations a power system’s evolution with respect to time is captured by a series of load flow snapshots. RMS simulations allow to calculate the time-dependent dynamics of electromechanical models, including control devices (new in version v0.6).

    protoFramework

A Dassault Aviation project to simplify the building of prototypes

protoFramework is a Dassault Aviation software based on a Java library and other modules as described below, and on specific software developed and maintained by Dassault Aviation. This protoFramework aims to simplify the development of prototypes of any types in several languages or technologies (such as Java, C++/C, Groovy, Python, etc..). protoFramework is based on a concept of service-oriented architecture design (“SOA”), which permits the interconnexion of application components through services, using an application protocol managed by the protoFramework.
