    Acoustic Research Tool (ART)

    Acoustic Research Tool (ART)

Acoustic Simulation Library for Frequency and Time Domain Simulations.

ART is a flexible simulation framework for wind instruments. It includes a growing library of modelling elements. So far bore discontinuities, branches, tone holes, cylindrical and conical tubes, Bessel horns and bent tubes are available for frequency domain modelling. In the time domain generic bidirectional propagation elements, scattering elements, fractional delays, convolution with reflection functions and general z-domain networks are available and can be described using MuParserX expressions. Cylindrical and conical ducts can also be defined based on their geometry. Available models and their parameters can be enumerated and combined to form simulators for complex acoustical structures. Parameters can be specified symbolically by expressions containing other parameter values or global variables. Dependencies between parameters are resolved at run time. However, MuParserX expressions are compiled at design time. Zero-delay loops are detected and reported.

    BEAST

    BEAST

BEAST is a tool dedicated to assess political goals of woody bioenergy

The BioEnergy Allocation and Simulation Tool (BEAST) is a tool dedicated to assess political goals of woody bioenergy production in the context of available biomass potentials and corresponding economic and ecological criteria on a regional level. It is a useful tool in participative decision making processes by iterative simulation and visualization of complex issues. BEAST is a data- and model-driven Decision Support System (DSS) evaluating woody biomass potentials from forests, hedges and trees outside forests as well as short rotation coppice (SRC). The latter one is modelled spatially explicit. This opens the possibility to identify prefered areas for SRC production under different restrictions and goals. Forest wood and wood from outside forests are treated only aggregated.

    BlueSky Open Air Traffic Simulator

    BlueSky Open Air Traffic Simulator

BlueSky Open Air Traffic sim, (Windows/Linux/Mac, Python 2.x based)

BlueSky is an Open Air Traffic Simulation for research purposes. It includes only open, license free data for navigation and aircraft performance but is also compatible with BADA 3. Can be used for ATC research or any other aviation or air transport related simulation studies. Is also able to visualize ADS-B traffic. BlueSky commands, and thus the scenario files, are compatible with the TMX simulator in use by NLR and NASA. BlueSky is originally developed, and still moderated, by prof. Jacco M. Hoekstra and staff and students of the TU Delft. More documentation can be found at the website and inside the doc folder.

    CASUP

    CASUP

Cellular Automata library for SUPercomputers (CASUP)

CASUP is a Cellular Automata (CA) library for HPC and supercomputers. It can be used in materials science (microstructure evolution, grain coarsening, fracture etc.), physics (Ising magnetisation) and for many other CA. If you use the library, please reference it as: A. Shterenlikht, L. Margetts, Three-dimensional cellular automata modelling of cleavage propagation across crystal boundaries in polycrystalline microstructures, Proc. Roy. Soc. A 471:20150039, DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.1098/rspa.2015.0039. CASUP can be linked with FE (e.g. MPI FE library ParaFEM, http://parafem.org.uk) for a multi-scale multi-physics CA-FE framework. CASUP extensively uses Fortran 2008 and 2018 coarrays, as well as MPI, OpenMP and do concurrent. CASUP can be used with Cray, Intel and GCC/OpenCoarrays compilers. Scaling beyond 100,000 cores on Cray XC30 was demonstrated.

    CCruncher

    CCruncher

Open-Source Project for Credit Risk Modeling

CCruncher is a project for quantifying portfolio credit risk using the copula approach. It is a framework consisting of two elements: a technical document that explains the theory, and a software program that implements it. CCruncher evaluates the portfolio credit risk by sampling the portfolio loss distribution and computing the Expected Loss (EL), Value at Risk (VaR) and Expected Shortfall (ES) statistics. The portfolio losses are obtained simulating the default times of obligors and simulating the EADs and LGDs of their assets.
