    SimFPGA

    VHDL Verification and Simulation Tool

SimFPGA is a graphical user interface (GUI) tool designed to facilitate the simulation of VHDL projects. It enables users to select VHDL source files and testbenches, configure library and standard settings, and run simulations using GHDL. Additionally, it allows visualization of waveforms through GTKWave. SimFPGA elaborates the project files using GHDL and builds the VHDL project before simulating it. This ensures code verification without the need for additional compilation tools. If an error is detected in any of the project files during elaboration or simulation, a message is displayed in the console indicating the type and location of the error, allowing the user to quickly resolve it.

    Popppy

Population Propogation in Python. Simulate births, marriages, deaths

...The tool could also be useful and fun for a student, for anyone curious about near-future demographics or CO2 emissions, or curious amateurs. Since it's Open Source (<2000 lines of Python code) you can make your own changes. It runs from the command line and should run on any (MS WIndows, Linux/Unix/Mac OSX) platform running Python 3. A non-Python MS Windows pre-compiled Popppy executable/binary is included for those who just want to run it without having the bother of installing Python 3.x or not wanting to change the source code.

jEPlus - Parametrics for E+ and TRNSYS

An EnergyPlus shell for parametric studies and more ...

...In order to perform complex parametric analyses on multiple parameters with more than a handful of alternative values each, a tool to generate commands for the simulation model to run, and to collect results afterwards will be needed. jEPlus has been developed as such a parametric tool for EnergyPlus. To see jEPlus in action, check out this video: http://youtu.be/jBA7Q7npNK4 The source code of the jEPlus project is now hosted on GitHub: https://github.com/jeplus/jEPlus/

    GenCodeGenerator

C++ class to generate biologically plausible genetic codes

...By default, the class "GeneticCode" generates alternative genetic codes, with the reqirement of block structure, and, optionally, with the assumption of stereochemical or biosynthetic models (to impose the assumption of the adaptive model, simply filter the codes using the error_cost() function). See Appendix in Makukov & shCherbak (2017) for the description of the algorithm. The code requires Qt 5. To compile the provided example, run 'qmake' to produce the Makefile, and then run 'make' to compile the executable file. License: Public Domain.

    steam-sim

An accurate, scalable, and energy-aware simulator for WSNs

STEAM-Sim establishes a hardware/software/network co-simulation of wireless sensor networks. Original C code is used in simulation. The code is natively executed by the cpu where the simulation is run. The time annotation engine annotates the C source code used for simulation with the timing information as if the code is run on a microcontroller. The annotation process is fully automated. Hardware models are developed using the PAWiS framework and reflect the timing, functionality, and energy-consumption of real-world hardware such as a CC2420 radio transceiver. ...

realistic truck & car simulator, with OpenGL graphics

update: https://sourceforge.net/projects/newctruck3drally/ It's a 3D, physically realistic truck/car simulator, oriented to dirt tracks. This is subsancially kept as hystorical. The environment is a hilly terrain which can also be user-defined in the form of a Bitmap image file (where intensity of red component defines height). It's similar to the classic "Terep 2". Particular care for internal cam. Written in standard C. There's a Windows executable ready for use, but it's compilable...

    Frc Robot Simulator

A library that allows programs for a NI CRIO to be run on a computer.

A simulator that allows programs written in Java for a National Instruments CRIO to be run on a local computer by overloading the libraries provided by WPI. Some things we've fixed since 0.1a: Kinect no longer throws an exception upon instantiation, the Watchdog is usable, array elements can now be edited in the gui, and lots of under the hood reimplementation to replace native methods. DISCLAIMER: this is not like the diamond bullet studios simulation, this only simulates how the hardware would act, so that code can be tested. ...

    MIDA

Mitochondiral Infectious Damage Adaptation (MIDA) model of aging

This project provides the source code for the Mitochondiral Infectious Damage Adaptation (MIDA) model of aging. A probabilistic modeling approach is applied by solving the master equation in mitochondrial quality state space in the presence of fusion-fission events, decay of functional quality, mitophagy and mitochondrial biogenesis, as well as molecular damage originating from a random source or from infectious events during fusion and fission. The provided source code is written in...

    SFish

    SFish

Basic real-time simulation engine in C++

In SFish you can model simulation objects with attributes and behaviour (continuous over time and not-continuous over time, latter one being events) and the communication between objects; then you can run simulations (real-/non-real-time) given a set of objects with specific attributes and see what happens in cause of their behaviour.

    rp6simul

rp6simul is a simulator for the RP6 robot (AREXX Engineering)

...Besides support for all peripherals on the robot base, the simulator also fully supports the m32 extension module, and both can be simulated either independently or simultaneously. Furthermore, a simple 2d environment can easily be created to test lighting, collision, motor speeds and so on. The simulator does not run native AVR files, but instead a thin wrapper is provided so that the AVR code can be compiled natively. Thanks to this wrapper, and a flexible Lua driver interface, the simulator emulates most of the IO registers, requiring no or minimal code modifications. rp6simul is primarily developed on Linux, but a Windows version will also be released.
