This code is a dedicated Kinetic Monte Carlo (KMC) algorithm which simulates a model of the post-translational Kai circadian clock. The code allows you to simulate the Kai system at the level of individual KaiC hexamers and monomers and explicitly tracks the turnover of every ATP nucleotide. Apart from ATP hydrolysis, all reactions obey detailed balance.

STEAM-Sim establishes a hardware/software/network co-simulation of wireless sensor networks. Original C code is used in simulation. The code is natively executed by the cpu where the simulation is run. The time annotation engine annotates the C source code used for simulation with the timing information as if the code is run on a microcontroller. The annotation process is fully automated. Hardware models are developed using the PAWiS framework and reflect the timing, functionality, and energy-consumption of real-world hardware such as a CC2420 radio transceiver. ...

In SFish you can model simulation objects with attributes and behaviour (continuous over time and not-continuous over time, latter one being events) and the communication between objects; then you can run simulations (real-/non-real-time) given a set of objects with specific attributes and see what happens in cause of their behaviour.

...Besides support for all peripherals on the robot base, the simulator also fully supports the m32 extension module, and both can be simulated either independently or simultaneously.
