    YAFEMS (Yet Another Finite Element Method Solver) is a FEM solver for Linux and WIndows that reads a MED mesh file produced by Salome (http://www.salome-platform.org/) with certain groups created into the mesh, and with the help of an input text file (.yaf), performs a 3D or 2D plane stress or plane strain analysis and creates results in plain text format and in MED format. This way a complete analysis can be carried inside Salome, where a mesh file can be created, exported and read by YAFEMS with the help of a .yaf input file and post-processed within Salome using ParaView. New in v0.4 - More performance boost due to the implementation of the Cuthill-McKee algorithm.

    Script for Maxima (a Computer Algebra System) that performs symbolic analysis of analog integrated circuits. Script allows to find approximated poles and zeros of transfer functions, developed and optimized for transfer functions of amplifiers, but can be used also for any general analog circuit. The script calculates DC transfer function, zeros, poles and creates Bode plots. DC transfer function, zeros, poles result simplified so main contributing elements can be easily identified.     ...Differ from the well-known multi-layered slab tissue model (MCML), our model employs multi-layered hollow cylinder which emitting and receiving light both from the inner boundary to meet the conditions of endoscopy. Inhomogeneous sphere can also be added in tissue layers to model cancer or other abnormal changes. The Endo-MCML is based on the MCML while some key algorithms especially the boundary hitting judgment and the reflectance/transmittance calculation are developed to meet the condition of curved boundaries. This model can be used for the forward modeling of light transport during endoscopically diffuse optical spectroscopy, light scattescattering spectroscopy, reflectance spectroscopy and other static optical detection or imaging technologies.
