    Napkin

    Napkin

    An Infinitely Large Napkin

...It is not a polished textbook full of full proofs; rather it offers clean definitions, theorem statements, intuitive motivations, and informal sketches of why things work, with the goal of building conceptual understanding. The coverage spans undergraduate and early graduate topics, designed to show how different areas of math fit together—linear algebra, analysis, topology, number theory, and more—without going deeply into every subtopic. Because it is written in LaTeX (with supporting Asymptote or other tools), readers can compile their own version, and the repository integrates diagrams, flowcharts, and supplementary files.

    Digraph3

    Digraph3

A collection of python3 modules for Algorithmic Decision Theory

...Technical documentation and tutorials are available under the following link: https://digraph3.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ The tutorials introduce the main objects like digraphs, outranking digraphs and performance tableaux. There is also a tutorial provided on undirected graphs. Some tutorials are problem oriented and show how to compute the winner of an election, how to build a best choice recommendation, or how to linearly rank or rate with multiple incommensurable performance criteria. Other tutorials concern more specifically operational aspects of computing maximal independent sets (MISs) and kernels in graphs and digraphs.

    SnowyOwl

RNA-Seq based gene prediction pipeline for fungal genomes

SnowyOwl is a gene prediction pipeline that uses RNA-Seq data to train and provide hints for the generation of Hidden Markov Model (HMM)-based gene predictions, and to evaluate the resulting models. The pipeline has been validated and streamlined by comparing its predictions to manually curated gene models in three fungal genomes, and its results show substantial increases in sensitivity and selectivity over previous gene predictions. Sensitivity is gained by repeatedly running the HMM gene predictor Augustus with varied input parameters, and selectivity by choosing the models with best homology to known proteins and best agreement to the RNA-Seq data. SnowyOwl has successfully predicted genes in 26 novel fungal genomes. ...

    Electrophysiology & circular stats tools

Data analysis and circular statistics with OpenElectrophy and R

Set of tools for basic analysis of electrophysiological data. The Python classes show how to call OpenElectrophy functions and save data. The R library applies circular statistics to spike phase data and saves the best von Mises fit and the Rayleigh statistics on the disk. The wavelet coherence analysis is done in R by the package "sowas". Check the module R_coherence to see how we solved that problem. This packages may be useful for people who start using OpenElectrophy and circular statistics in R. ...

    Forecast Production Assistant

    Forecast Production Assistant

Met object database and interactive graphical editor

Meteorologists use the FPA to create a series of weather charts, known as depictions, that show weather fields over a sequence of times. The weather fields can contain grid point data or sets of areas, lines or scattered points. The weather depictions are not just graphical displays, but windows into an object database. By connecting processes to the database, forecast offices can automatically generate forecast products or run local models, while spending more of their time on weather analysis, diagnosis and prognosis.
