These include idioms (kick the bucket), noun compounds (cable car), phrasal verbs (take off, give up), etc. Even though it focuses on multiword expresisons, the framework is quite complete and can also be useful in any corpus-based study in computational linguistics. The mwetoolkit can be applied to virtually any text collection, language, and MWE type. It is a command-line tool written mostly in Python. Its development started in 2010 as a PhD thesis but the project keeps active (see the SVN logs). NEVESIM is a software package for event-driven simulation of networks of spiking neurons with a fast simulation core in C++, and a scripting user interface in the Python programming language. It supports simulation of heterogeneous networks with different types of neurons and synapses, and can be easily extended by the user with new neuron and synapse types. To enable heterogeneous networks and extensibility, NEVESIM is designed to decouple the simulation logic of communicating events (spikes) between the neurons at a network level from the implementation of the internal dynamics of individual neurons.

with nodeCol you can create nodes and connect them with edges. then the script checks if there is a possibility to colorize the nodes with a specific number of colors without having two nodes, connectet with one edge, getting the same color.

The basis sets included with ECCE have -- as far as I can tell -- not been updated for many years. In addition, many of the newer basis sets that come with nwchem aren't included, such as the def2- series. nwbas2ecce is a python script that aims to automate as much as possible of the conversion process of a nwchem basis set file into the files necessary for ECCE to included it in the basis set tool. The process isn't completely automatic, but I also believe that it shouldn't be to avoid stuff-ups -- however, the amount of manual editing is kept to a minimum. Note that these script are run in the terminal. The screenshot is of the basis set tool in ECCE, not this piece of software.

This toolbox generates automatically a vtk-visualization for an ode (Open Dynamics Engine) simulation under Python. You only have to define the simulation space and world and forward these entities to the visualization. That's all... Install also via pip possible: pip install odeViz

OmbakWarna is a spreadsheet based graphical analysis software utilizing numpy and matplotlib as analysis and graphic tools. Its design is inspired by IgorPro software. It is licensed under GNU General Public License, version 2. This is still works in progress. Some widgets are without functionality.
