    PyRadMon

    PyRadMon

Automated reporting of Geiger Muller counter readings to RadMon.org

This project includes several Python and bash scripts designed to connect Geiger Muller counters to report their results to RadMon.org. Soon the script will also feature local logging, graphing and alerting. Just because the Cold War is "over" does not mean that there is no more threat of a radiological attack. In fact, the U.S. Homeland Security Council lists the "Detonation of a 10 Megaton Improvised Nuclear Device" as "Scenario #1" among the top 15 threats to American security. Or, if you do not believe that a nuclear bomb is likely, what about all the Chernobyl-style Soviet-era nuclear power stations still in service? The point is: let us work together as free people to jointly report and track radiation levels around the globe. Information is power--and more importantly, information can save lives. This project is known to work on Raspberry Pi and various Linux distributions. Both PyRadMon and RadMon.org are completely free, though donations are always appreciated.

    PyRadmon Reborn

    PyRadmon Reborn

PyRadmon, a Python script to use on both Linux and Windows.

PyRadmon Reborn. This project started after the original programmers quit supporting it. The project now contains support for audio*, has a version that supports two Geiger counters** and a cleaner, more stable code. * = PyAudio is used as library for the audio support. ** = The two counters both run in their own thread. UPDATE-2015-2: * Added timeouts to sockets to prevent crashing of the script. * Updated some comments. UPDATE-2015-1: Since there have been some passed time I decided to pickup the keyboard to write for PyRadmon again, hence the new updates. Most significant changes: * Added a logger for catching and storing messages to a log file. * Complete cosmetic overhaul, fixing ugliness throughout the code, in the hope others might find it easier to read/more standardized.

    PyRobot

    PyRobot

An Open Source Robotics Research Platform

PyRobot is a high-level robotics API that simplifies controlling real and simulated robots through a consistent Python interface. Instead of fighting ROS internals, you call clear methods for things like base navigation, arm manipulation, and camera capture, and PyRobot handles the plumbing. It was built to make research repeatable on accessible platforms—most notably low-cost mobile manipulators—while still scaling to richer hardware. The library exposes canonical abstractions (base, arm, gripper, camera, sensors) with calibration and kinematics helpers so beginners can get meaningful results quickly. It also plugs into simulation backends, letting you prototype perception and control algorithms before deploying on physical robots. By standardizing common operations and providing examples, PyRobot reduces boilerplate and encourages best practices in perception-control loops, data collection, and benchmarking.

    PyTensor

    PyTensor

Python library for defining and optimizing mathematical expressions

PyTensor is a fork of Aesara, a Python library for defining, optimizing, and efficiently evaluating mathematical expressions involving multi-dimensional arrays. PyTensor is based on Theano, which has been powering large-scale computationally intensive scientific investigations since 2007. A hackable, pure-Python codebase. Extensible graph framework is suitable for rapid development of custom operators and symbolic optimizations. Implements an extensible graph transpilation framework that currently provides compilation via C, JAX, and Numba. Based on one of the most widely-used Python tensor libraries: Theano.

    PyTorch Geometric Temporal

    PyTorch Geometric Temporal

Spatiotemporal Signal Processing with Neural Machine Learning Models

The library consists of various dynamic and temporal geometric deep learning, embedding, and Spatio-temporal regression methods from a variety of published research papers. Moreover, it comes with an easy-to-use dataset loader, train-test splitter and temporal snaphot iterator for dynamic and temporal graphs. The framework naturally provides GPU support. It also comes with a number of benchmark datasets from the epidemiological forecasting, sharing economy, energy production and web traffic management domains. Finally, you can also create your own datasets. The package interfaces well with Pytorch Lightning which allows training on CPUs, single and multiple GPUs out-of-the-box. PyTorch Geometric Temporal makes implementing Dynamic and Temporal Graph Neural Networks quite easy - see the accompanying tutorial. Head over to our documentation to find out more about installation, creation of datasets and a full list of implemented methods and available datasets.
