    erf

error function and related functions in pure standard Fortran 2008

Fortran 2008 added 3 new intrinsic functions: erf, erfc, erfc_scaled. However, they take only real arguments. This package provides a BSD licensed Fortran 2008 module with erf(z), where z is a complex argument. The calculation is based on calculating w(z), the Faddeyeva (plasma dispersion) function. Two algorithms are implemented: TOMS 680 and 916, http://www.netlib.org/toms/. The simple test program calculates values in the Abramowitz, Stegun.

LGML is a GML parser under the LGPL license. The aim is to parse a GML document or fragment in order to get a WKT output. 2D and 3D inputs are both handled, but it is not permitted to have mixed geometries. The caller can choose if the input coordinates are parsed as X, Y, Z (if present) order, or Y, X, Z (if present) order. The willing of the project is to be a starting point useful for developers that need to parse GML objects in order to use them, for example, in the context of OGC...

    CoDeCZ

    CoDeCZ

Derive copy number status from targeted sequencing data

CoDeCZ derives copy number state from targeted sequencing data on gene or exon level. Results are NOT true copy number however, but they are semi-quantitative: It uses the modified z-score to calculate deviation in normalized coverage per specified region. The higher the Z-score, the higher the copy number. The final z-score depends on the quality of the data and the makeup of the reference pool.

    gcr_convert

converts cosmic-ray files from GALPROP for viewing / plotting.

The GALPROP program (http://galprop.stanford.edu) computes cosmic-ray propagation in the Galaxy, in 2D or 3D. The ouput cosmic-ray distribution is in the form of FITS files which however are not convenient for viewing or plotting with the standard ftools program fv, since the files have 4 or 5 dimensional arrays (due to the momentum and species axes) while fv handles only 3 dimensional arrays. This program converts to fv-compatible FITS files, either from 2D to (R,z) or from 3D to (x,z) at y...
