    Canon EOS DIGITAL Info

    Canon EOS DIGITAL Info

Utility for Reading/ editing some Infos on Canon EOS DSLRs

Canon doesn’t have shutter count included on the EXIF information of an image file, as opposed to Nikon and Pentax. There’s no official Canon based application to find the shutter count for an EOS DSLR. However, there are a few free tools that may help you to do this. They provide some details about the camera, including product Name, firmware version, battery level, shutter Counter, date/time, and owner/artist/copyright strings. But it does not support this features: Editing the owner/artist/copyright and synchronizing date/time within the local PC's date/time. For that, I wrote a new utility that includes all these features by integrating those that were missing. I uses an official Canon SDK (Canon ED-SDK) to retrieve and set all camera information (shutter count is retrieved via an undocumented function). The Canon Digital Camera SDKs is freely available on this official link: https://www.didp.canon-europa.com. for more info read the text file "readme.txt" please.

    PhotoSwipe

    PhotoSwipe

    JavaScript framework independent image gallery

PhotoSwipe is the first open-source gallery to support JavaScript-based image zooming. Even if a browser’s native zooming has been disabled, image zooming will still work. The gallery’s background will gradually fade out as the user zooms out. When the gesture is complete, the gallery will close. Gesture is added because close button in top right corner might be hard to reach on tall mobile devices while holding in one hand. Images can be changed even when current slide is zoomed. Swiping is not blocked during the transition. PhotoSwipe manipulates the browser’s history so that the user can link to each gallery item and close the gallery via the “back” button. The initial URL is restored when the gallery is closed. PhotoSwipe adds a history record when the gallery is opened, which allows the user to close it via the browser’s “back” button. This feature comes as a module. You can exclude it from the build entirely, or fork it to fit the requirements of your product’s URL structure.

Menu items can be shown, hidden, and reordered from the settings dialog. Guetzli

    Guetzli

    Perceptual JPEG encoder

Guetzli is a JPEG encoder that aims for excellent compression density at high visual quality. Guetzli-generated images are typically 20-30% smaller than images of equivalent quality generated by libjpeg. Guetzli generates only sequential (nonprogressive) JPEGs due to faster decompression speeds they offer. Get a copy of the source code, either by cloning this repository, or by downloading an archive and unpacking it. Install libpng. If using your operating system package manager, install development versions of the packages if the distinction exists. Run make and expect the binary to be created in bin/Release/guetzli. Note that Guetzli is designed to work on high quality images. You should always prefer providing uncompressed input images (e.g. that haven't been already compressed with any JPEG encoders, including Guetzli). While it will work on other images too, results will be poorer. You can try compressing an enclosed sample high quality image.
