Log4Qt is a C++ port of the Apache Software Foundation Log4j package using the Trolltech Qt Framework.

S.M.A.R.T. Linux is a bootable floppy distribution containing tool (smartmontools) for monitoring IDE/SCSI hard disks (using Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology). It is based on Slackware Linux.

WhoisUP v0.3 monitors hosts via ICMP and shows the status in a web page. When a host is down, the script can send mail, syslog message, open a popup message or play a sound. Moreover, the script monitors if the host exceed the latency threshold limit. The script uses NMap to send ICMP packets and to save the host status into an XML file. Then, WhoisUP reads the XML and shows the report in a web page with AJAX features; in case of host failure the script can send alarms. WhoisUP is useful to monitor hosts (PC, Server, NAS, Router, Switch and so on...) and to receive alerts when a host go down.

Windows Tail is a Windows version of Unix and Linux tail command. Tail for Windows. I wanted to make it easier to use tail in the windows environment. You can even add it to the open with dialog in windows explorer. This is great tool if you need to monitor log files. Now: Create Application Alerts! Email Alerts and SMS Alerts using SMTP! This is a very simple tool for displaying large text files where large means they don't fit into the 2 GB memory which a 32 bit Windows process can use. I successfully tested it displaying a 48 GB XML dump of the English language Wikipedia which contained 789.577.286 lines of text.

NeoLogger is Windows Syslog Client similar to the logger command known from UNIX/LINUX systems used to send SYSLOG messages.
