Contains a framework for Coldfire MCUs like 52254. The framework supports a Command Line Interface (CLI) that may work from Serial port, USB or ENET. The framework uses Processor Expert and IDE requirement is MCU Eclipse 10.4 from Freescale. Includes the FunkOS Realtime Operating System by Funkenstein Software Consulting, available at http://funkos.sourceforge.net Mainly it is a support package for the development board Perseus, but I have ported also the RTOS to MCF52233DEMO board. ...The original tuner used an semidigital remote controller and 24line cable between the tuner unit and remote controller. I decided me to build the tuner unit and replaced the controller part by an ATmega MCU on both sides and linked them with cheap network cable. The used protocol between the controllers are RS422 based and is frame based with checksum. The tuner relays are switched each sepperate and the I/O unit are an two MCP23017 as I2C-Bus expanders.The MCU is an ATmega88 in a small housing. I decided me to use I2C-Bus Expanders instead using an ATmega 1284p and direct I/O handling in the expanding capability of this concept. ... -

...The Keyers sketch is moved to Atmel-Studio 7 and got some little modifications that was required to fit's the code to an actual GNU-CC Compiler that's shipped with Atmel-Studio 7. The Sketch-Import function of Atmel-Studio7 does not help's to become a usable project. The used MCU is an Arduino unsuported variant of a plain and native ATMega1284P, that's have enought memory (128K) and comes in DIP40 housing - a nice peace for use the on prototype boards or embedded them into your own project. It contains two serial boards and every I/O pin support the use in combination of an external Interrupt. I had stopped the time consuming portation of the original arduino sketch in the beginnung of 2015 because i had moved to the ARM Cortex-M MPU's. ... -
