    Computer Science courses video lectures

    Computer Science courses video lectures

List of Computer Science courses with video lectures

This repository is a curated list of full-length computer science video lecture series across many universities and MOOC platforms, helping learners assemble their own curriculum. The list spans foundational topics like algorithms, data structures, operating systems, computer networks, machine learning, and more, all delivered via lectures rather than just textual tutorials. The contributor guidelines encourage adding high-quality courses (not just casual tutorials) so the list remains academically oriented. Because it’s updated and community maintained, the collection grows with new offerings and helps learners evaluate what courses are available before starting. For self-taught engineers, graduates, or career-changers, this repository acts as a roadmap: pick courses, follow them, mark completion, and build a depth of theoretical foundation. It’s especially useful when mapping out a learning path rather than relying on a single bootcamp or video series.

    Countries, Languages & Continents data

Countries, Languages & Continents data (capital and currency)

Continents & countries (with languages, capital and currency, native name, calling codes). Continents & countries: ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code, name, ISO 639-1 language, capital and currency, native name, calling codes. Lists are available in JSON, CSV and SQL formats. Also, contains separate JSON files with additional country Emoji flags data. This version changes a lot in the data structures and placement of the files. So, if your projects depend on the old structure — specify previous versions, <2.0.0. Country item languages field is an Array in JSON files to easily count and match items with a Language item. But currency and phone calling codes may be a comma-separated String. Languages list only contains languages used in Countries data. Full list of known languages is exported as languagesAll from ./dist/languages.all.json.

    DRACO

    DRACO

A ibrary for compressing and decompressing 3D geometric meshes

Draco is an open-source library for compressing and decompressing 3D geometric meshes and point clouds. It is intended to improve the storage and transmission of 3D graphics. Learn about compressing and viewing 3D models with Draco, and about different compression models and their effects. Draco was designed and built for compression efficiency and speed. The code supports compressing points, connectivity information, texture coordinates, color information, normals, and any other generic attributes associated with geometry. With Draco, applications using 3D graphics can be significantly smaller without compromising visual fidelity. For users, this means apps can now be downloaded faster, 3D graphics in the browser can load quicker, and VR and AR scenes can now be transmitted with a fraction of the bandwidth and rendered quickly.

    DockPanel Suite

The Visual Studio inspired docking library for .NET WinForms

Microsoft first introduced the docking panel layout in Visual Studio .NET (2002), and soon it became popular in application design. Many commercial .NET component vendors started to provide docking libraries initially, but there was no good free and open source alternative until WeiFen Luo released DockPanel Suite (DPS for short) on SourceForge.net in 2006. After an 18 month hiatus, the project has been resurrected and is now being actively developed on GitHub.

    Embedded Template Library (ETL)

    Embedded Template Library (ETL)

    Embedded Template Library

C++ is a great language to use for embedded applications and templates are a powerful aspect. The standard library can offer a great deal of well-tested functionality, but there are some parts of the standard library that do not fit well with deterministic behavior and limited resource requirements. These limitations usually preclude the use of dynamically allocated memory and containers with open-ended sizes. What is needed is a template library where the user can declare the size, or maximum size of any object upfront. Most embedded compilers do not currently support the standard beyond C++ 03, therefore excluding the programmer from using the enhanced features of the later library.

    FlutterFire

    FlutterFire

A collection of Firebase plugins for Flutter apps

FlutterFire is a collection of Flutter plugins that integrate Firebase services into Flutter applications. It provides modular plugins (e.g. firebase_auth, cloud_firestore, firebase_messaging, etc.) such that apps only include what they need. The central plugin is firebase_core, which initializes the Firebase app instance. Through FlutterFire, developers can use authentication, real-time database, Firestore, cloud functions, analytics, messaging, storage, and more from their Flutter code. The project includes tooling (e.g. the FlutterFire CLI) to assist in configuring Firebase projects and managing plugin versions. The goal is to make Firebase a seamless, first-class backend option for cross-platform Flutter apps, handling platform differences (iOS, Android, web) under the hood.

    GPT-5 Coding Examples

    GPT-5 Coding Examples

    GPT-5 coding examples

GPT-5 Coding Examples is a demonstration repository showcasing applications generated entirely from a single GPT-5 prompt without hand-written code. The collection highlights GPT-5’s strengths in scaffolding websites, front-end applications, games, and interactive UIs directly from natural-language instructions. Each demo illustrates how developers and non-developers alike can bootstrap functional projects by describing their ideas in plain English. The repository allows users to explore examples locally or through a hosted version, where they can view prompts, inspect generated code, and remix projects. It also provides guidance for experimenting with GPT-5 in different workflows — from using the Codex CLI for terminal-based automation, to integrating with IDEs, to leveraging ChatGPT’s browser-based code generation and preview. While archived as a reference-only resource with no active contributions, GPT-5 Coding Examples remains a source of inspiration for rapid prototyping.

    GitHub520

    GitHub520

Community-maintained approach to improving access to GitHub services

GitHub520 is a community-maintained approach to improving access to GitHub services from regions with network friction by leveraging host mappings. The repository provides a regularly updated list of domain-to-IP entries meant to be appended to a system’s hosts file so certain GitHub endpoints resolve faster or more reliably. It includes scripts or guidance to automate updates, reducing the need for manual lookups when IPs change. The project’s goal is pragmatic: improve developer productivity by mitigating timeouts and slow asset retrieval during cloning, package installs, or browsing. It is intended for users who understand the implications of hosts modifications and want a reversible, client-side tweak. While simple in concept, it has become a widely referenced workaround for network constraints affecting developer workflows.

    Go Meta Linter

    Go Meta Linter

Runs a whole bunch of those linters and normalizes their output

Go Meta Linter is a deprecated Go meta-linter that was created to run many Go static analysis tools at the same time. It normalizes their results into one consistent output format so editors, IDEs, and CI systems can read problems more easily. The tool helps developers catch issues such as unused code, unchecked errors, duplicated code, style problems, security concerns, and suspicious compiler-level behavior. It supports a broad collection of linters and lets users customize which checks run for each project. It can also be configured through a JSON file, which makes it easier to share linting rules across a team. Although the project is archived and users are directed toward golangci-lint, it remains a useful example of early Go lint aggregation.

Packages include a type-checker for Go and an implementation of the Static Single Assignment form (SSA) representation for Go programs. This repository uses prettier to format JS and CSS files. The version of prettier used is 1.18.2. It is encouraged that all JS and CSS code be run through this before submitting a change. However, it is not a strict requirement enforced by CI. This repository uses Gerrit for code changes.

    Inject

    Inject

    Hot Reloading for Swift applications

Hot reloading workflow helper that enables you to save hours of time each week, regardless if you are using UIKit, AppKit or SwiftUI. Hot reloading is a technique allowing you to get rid of compiling your whole application and avoiding deploy/restart cycles as much as possible, all while allowing you to edit your running application code and see changes reflected as close as possible to real-time. This makes you significantly more productive by reducing the time you spend waiting for apps to rebuild, restart, re-navigate to the previous location where you were in the app itself, re-produce the data you need. You don’t need to add conditional compilation or remove Inject code from your applications for production, it's already designed to behave as no-op inlined code that will get stripped by LLVM in non-debug builds.
