libjpeg-turbo
SIMD-accelerated libjpeg-compatible JPEG codec library
libjpeg-turbo is a JPEG image codec that uses SIMD instructions (MMX, SSE2, NEON, AltiVec) to accelerate baseline JPEG compression and decompression on x86, x86-64, ARM, and PowerPC systems. On such systems, libjpeg-turbo is generally 2-6x as fast as libjpeg, all else being equal. On other types of systems, libjpeg-turbo can still outperform libjpeg by a significant amount, by virtue of its highly-optimized Huffman coding routines. In many cases, the performance of libjpeg-turbo rivals that of proprietary high-speed JPEG codecs. libjpeg-turbo implements both the traditional libjpeg API as well as the less powerful but more straightforward TurboJPEG API. libjpeg-turbo also features colorspace extensions that allow it to compress from/decompress to 32-bit and big-endian pixel buffers (RGBX, XBGR, etc.), as well as a full-featured Java interface. -

Also known as "pthreads-win32", POSIX Threads for Windows implements a large subset of the threads related API from the Single Unix Specification Version 3. Conformance and quality are high priorities of this mature library. Development began in 1998 and has continued with numerous significant professional contributions. Please note:- whilst PThreads4W can be built and run by it, MinGW64 includes it's own default POSIX Threads library called "winpthreads". The two are not compatible and in order to build and run PThreads4W (formerly PThreads-WIn32) MinGW64 must be installed without win32pthreads. If you want or need to build and run with PThreads4W then you need to choose win32 threading instead of POSIX when you install MinGW64 to not install the conflicting winpthreads include and library files. -

4tH is a Forth compiler with a little difference. Instead of the standard Forth engine it features a conventional compiler. 4tH is a very small compiler that can create bytecode, C-embeddable bytecode, standalone executables, but also works fine as a scripting language. Data structures and Algorithms library
Aleph-w is a library of data structures and algorithms implemented in and for C++. It contains the main data structures: single and double lists, special arrays (dynamic and of bits), many types of trees: multitrees, binary search trees, avl, red-black, randomized, treaps, splay and other interesting types. Several types of hash tables are implemented: separated chaining, open adressing with linear probing and double function hash; this last one has a garbage colector mechanism that allows to free deleted entries. Dynamic linear hash tables are implemented too. The main algorithms on graphs are implemented in an easy way and with good performance features. Network Flow (maximum and min cost), cut points, topological sort, spanning trees, min paths. etc. The graphs are generic in the sense that they can contain data independent of the algorithm. Several containers of the C++ STL library are implemented with Aleph-w. Their performance is better than GNU implementation -

LibSecRm (LIBrary for SECure ReMoval) is a set of replacements for these standard C functions which cause data removing from files. The data is first securely wiped on-the-fly, to protect the user's privacy, then the original functions are called. There is NO NEED to rebuild your software, because LibSecRm is a pre-loadable library, meaning you just need to RUN the software with LibSecRm loaded. LibSecRm is also a development library. To wipe data that was left on the drive by using "normal" delete operations, you can take a look at WipeFreeSpace (https://wipefreespace.sourceforge.io), which wipes the space used by files marked as deleted (and other things, too). -
