libjpeg-turbo
SIMD-accelerated libjpeg-compatible JPEG codec library
libjpeg-turbo is a JPEG image codec that uses SIMD instructions (MMX, SSE2, NEON, AltiVec) to accelerate baseline JPEG compression and decompression on x86, x86-64, ARM, and PowerPC systems. On such systems, libjpeg-turbo is generally 2-6x as fast as libjpeg, all else being equal. On other types of systems, libjpeg-turbo can still outperform libjpeg by a significant amount, by virtue of its highly-optimized Huffman coding routines. In many cases, the performance of libjpeg-turbo rivals that of proprietary high-speed JPEG codecs. libjpeg-turbo implements both the traditional libjpeg API as well as the less powerful but more straightforward TurboJPEG API. libjpeg-turbo also features colorspace extensions that allow it to compress from/decompress to 32-bit and big-endian pixel buffers (RGBX, XBGR, etc.), as well as a full-featured Java interface. -

FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), released under the Apache license. Enjoy the freedom of using your software wherever you want, the way you want it, in a world where interoperability can finally liberate your computing experience. The nightly builds are installed into /opt/freerdp-nightly and can be installed in parallel with the distributions regular freerdp package. Network tracing of RDP can be quite a challenge due to a number of factors such as encryption, compression, and the fact that these protocol features cannot always be disabled or worked around. One of the easiest way of decrypting RDP traffic is to configure the server with a self-signed certificate for which the private key is known, and then use this certificate with a network tracing tool to automatically decrypt the packets. -

Cisco has taken their H.264 implementation and open-sourced it under BSD license terms. Development and maintenance will be overseen by a board from the industry and the open-source community. Furthermore, we have provided a binary form suitable for inclusion in applications across a number of different operating systems and made this binary module available for download from the Internet. We will not pass on our MPEG-LA licensing costs for this module, and based on the current licensing environment, this will effectively make H.264 free for use on supported platforms. OpenH264 is a codec library which supports H.264 encoding and decoding. It is suitable for use in real-time applications such as WebRTC. Constrained Baseline Profile up to Level 5.2 (Max frame size is 36864 macro-blocks). Arbitrary resolution, not constrained to multiples of 16x16. Rate control with adaptive quantization, or constant quantization. -

RTAB-Map (Real-Time Appearance-Based Mapping) is a RGB-D, Stereo and Lidar Graph-Based SLAM approach based on an incremental appearance-based loop closure detector. The loop closure detector uses a bag-of-words approach to determine how likely a new image comes from a previous location or a new location. When a loop closure hypothesis is accepted, a new constraint is added to the map’s graph, then a graph optimizer minimizes the errors in the map. A memory management approach is used to limit the number of locations used for loop closure detection and graph optimization so that real-time constraints on large-scale environments are always respected. RTAB-Map can be used alone with a handheld Kinect, a stereo camera or a 3D lidar for 6DoF mapping, or on a robot equipped with a laser rangefinder for 3DoF mapping. -

StickyListHeaders is an Android library that makes it easy to integrate section headers in your ListView. These section headers stick to the top like in the new People app of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. This behavior is also found in lists with sections on iOS devices. This library can also be used without the sticky functionality if you just want section headers. StickyListHeaders actively supports android versions 2.3 (gingerbread) and above. That said, it works all the way down to 2.1 but is not actively tested or working perfectly. The goal of this project is to deliver a high performance replacement to ListView. You should with minimal effort and time be able to add section headers to a list. This should be done via a simple to use API without any special features. This library will always priorities general use cases over special ones. This means that the library will add very few public methods to the standard ListView and will not try to work for every use case. -

You manage extensions by curating this folder tree, where you will find the data for fakenews, social, gambling, and porn extension data that we maintain and provide for you. Create an optional blacklist file. The contents of this file (containing a listing of additional domains in hosts file format) are appended to the unified hosts file during the update process. A sample blacklist is included, and may be modified as you need. -

Easy to use and configurable library to Pick an image from the Gallery or Capture an image using a Camera. It also allows to Crop and Compress the Image based on Aspect Ratio, Resolution, and Image Size. Almost 90% of the apps that I have developed have an Image upload feature. Along with the image selection, Sometimes I needed a crop feature for my profile image for that I've used uCrop. Most of the time I need to compress the image as the image captured from the camera is more than 5-10 MBs and sometimes we have a requirement to upload images with specific resolution/size, in that case, image compression is the way to go option. To simplify the image pick/capture option I have created the ImagePicker library. I hope it will be useful to all. -

The Open Asset Import Library (short name: Assimp) is a portable Open-Source library to import various well-known 3D model formats in a uniform manner. The most recent version also knows how to export 3d files and is therefore suitable as a general-purpose 3D model converter. See the feature-list. open3mod is a Windows-based model viewer. It loads all file formats that Assimp supports and is perfectly suited to quickly inspect 3d assets. Assimp aims to provide a full asset conversion pipeline for use in game engines / realtime rendering systems of any kind, but it is not limited to this purpose. In the past, it has been used in a wide range of applications. Written in C++, it is available under a liberal BSD license. There is a C API as well as bindings to various other languages, including C#, Python and D. Assimp loads all input model formats into one straightforward data structure for further processing.
