It provides tools to tweak memory management parameters such as swap size and swappiness, adjust HugePages and kernel memory behaviors, and free up space by cleaning leftover game data, shader caches, and compatibility data for uninstalled titles. The utilities aim to balance performance and system responsiveness, especially in gaming scenarios where constrained RAM and storage throughput can cause stutters or slow load times. The project includes an installer, an easy GUI launcher, and numerous toggles for Linux kernel parameters, and it abstracts many common tweaks that would otherwise require manual command-line intervention. -

An open source roguelike adventure through dungeons filled with dangerous monsters in a quest to find the mystifyingly fabulous Orb of Zot. Crawl may seem easier than many other roguelikes at first glance, but dig a little deeper and you'll find it's just as challenging as some of the most difficult variations out there and a good deal harder than the rest. A strong set of design philosophies makes it much friendlier (and generally fairer) to the player - deaths are a learning experience instead of an exercise in frustration. Crawl also sports a number of systems and mechanics that diverge from more traditional roguelikes. For example, there's less emphasis on character classes (or backgrounds in Crawl parlance); your character is defined more by their skills, species and choice of deity than their background. Crawl includes an in-game tutorial and manual in the name of providing something playable without the aid of a guide or wiki. -

A refreshingly simple data-driven game engine built in Rust. All engine and game logic uses Bevy ECS, a custom Entity Component System. Massively Parallel and Cache-Friendly. The fastest ECS according to some benchmarks. Components are Rust structs, Systems are Rust functions. Queries, Global Resources, Local Resources, Change Detection, Lock-Free Parallel Scheduler. Bevy is still in the very early stages of development. APIs can and will change (now is the time to make suggestions!). Important features are missing. Documentation is sparse. Please don't build any serious projects in Bevy unless you are prepared to be broken by API changes constantly. Bevy relies heavily on improvements in the Rust language and compiler. As a result, the Minimum Supported Rust Version (MSRV) is "the latest stable release" of Rust. Built directly on top of Bevy's ECS, Renderer, and Scene plugins. -

If you want to help test the latest development stage of the next version (make sure to backup your files as these may contain bugs), you can fetch the test build artifact from one of the build server. -

SDL_GameControllerDB is a community-maintained database of game controller mappings designed to be used with the SDL (Simple DirectMedia Layer) library’s Game Controller API for both SDL2 and SDL3. Because many controllers report different axes and button layouts depending on platform and manufacturer, this project provides a large text database (gamecontrollerdb.txt) that maps those raw inputs to a standardized layout for consistent use in games and applications across Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and other SDL-supported systems. Developers simply include or load the database file at runtime and call SDL’s API to add mappings, which enables out-of-the-box support for controllers that would otherwise behave unpredictably. The repository encourages community contributions so new or uncommon controllers can be added as they’re discovered and tested. -
