Game fully works in multiplayer. You can start the game as dedicated server, as a host (server & client at the same time), or you can connect to a server. It can be used to create maps of any size, with no restrictions on tile size, or the number of layers or tiles that can be used. Maps, layers, tiles, and objects can all be assigned arbitrary properties. Tiled's map format (TMX) is easy to understand and allows multiple tilesets to be used in any map. Tilesets can be modified at any time. Tiled is a general purpose tile map editor for all tile-based games, such as RPGs, platformers or Breakout clones. Tiled was originally written in Java. In 2008, work began to develop a faster, better looking, and easier-to-use version of Tiled based on the Qt framework. This decision was made as the Qt framework has a greater feature set than is offered by the standard Java libraries. Before you can compile Tiled, you must ensure the Qt (>= 5.6) development libraries have been installed as well as the Qbs build tool.

    A modern shaders mod for Minecraft compatible with existing OptiFine

    Iris was created to fill a void that I saw in the Minecraft customization and graphical enhancement community: the lack of an open-source shaders mod that would let me load my favorite shader packs on modern versions of the game, while retaining performance and compatibility with modpacks. OptiFine, the current dominant mod for loading shader packs, has restrictive licensing that firmly stands in the way of any sort of tinkering, and is fairly notorious for having compatibility issues with the mods that I like. It's also mutually incompatible with Sodium, the best rendering optimization mod in existence by a large margin. ShadersMod was never updated past 1.12, and it lacks support for many of the many modern popular shaderpacks. So I created Iris, to try and solve these issues, and also address many other longstanding issues with shader packs. I first and foremost develop Iris to meet my own needs of a performance-oriented shaders mod with good compatibility.
