Filecalibur calculates hashes of the analyzed files (using hashdeep) and stores them in text files. Using this hash files, differences or modifications of files within this collections are identified and used to modify other collections. It uses rsync to synchronize filecollections with each other. Lecithine is a FUSE (file system in user space) using a secret sharing scheme. You can use Lecithine as regular file system. When writing to disk, data will be devided into randomly chosen pieces (secret shares) and stored into different places. Upon reading, the shares are merged together such that in turn the plaintext results. From a cryptographers point of view, there is no symmetric or private key ever needed to produce a ciphertext. -

Version 1.2 has been rewritten from the scratch using QML and also QT Quick components and currently works only on Meego Harmattan devices (Nokia N) and N950). -
