Open Source C++ Embedded Systems Software

This program is designed to write a raw disk image to a removable device or backup a removable device to a raw image file. It is very useful for embedded development, namely Arm development projects (Android, Ubuntu on Arm, etc). Anyone is free to branch and modify this program. Patches are always welcome. This release is for Windows 7/8.1/10. It will should also work on Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 (although not tested by the developmers). For Windows XP/Vista, please use v0.9 (in the files archive). Warning: Issues have been reported when using to write to USB Floppy drives (and occasionally other USB devices, although very rare). While this has been fixed in v1.0, it is highly recommended that before an image is written to a device, the user should do a Read to a temporary file first. If this fails, please report the failure along with your system information. Known issues: Currently, the program will crash if you are using a Ramdisk. This is being debugged.

QP real-time event frameworks (RTEFs) provide lightweight, modern, event-driven architecture based on asynchronous Active Objects (Actors) and Hierarchical State Machines. The matching QM model-based design tool and other host-based tools complement the QP frameworks by supporting graphical modeling, code generation, software tracing, and unit testing for event-driven embedded software. The frameworks contain a selection of built-in real-time kernels (RTOS kernels), such as the cooperative QV kernel, the preemptive non-blocking QK kernel, and the unique preemptive, dual-mode (blocking/non-blocking) QXK kernel. Native QP ports and ready-to-use examples are provided for ARM Cortex-M (M0/M0+/M3/M4/M7/M33/...) as well as other CPUs. The QP RTEFs can also work with many traditional RTOSes and General-Purpose OSes, such as Linux and Windows.

ChibiOS/RT is a free and efficient RTOS designed for deeply embedded applications. It offers a comprehensive set of kernel primitives and supports many architectures: ARM7, Cortex-M0, Cortex-M3, Cortex-M4, PowerPC e200z, STM8, AVR, MSP430, ColdFire, H8S, x86.

This Library includes a DMX Master, DMX Slave and various examples on how to use its implementation. This projects has been started to support the use of our Shielded DMX / RDM Shield for Arduino. The GXPing component determines methods, with which GXPing component detects, if a remote computer is reachable. A successful Ping indicates that the remote host can be reached on the network.

fslurp is a program to pull the data from a Fronius inverter systems via a serial port connection. It supports both single and multiple inverter systems through the Interface Card Easy and the Fronius Interface Card/DataLogger Box. Fronius Sensor Card devices are also supported. It supports both human-readable and delimited (CSV-style) text output. Sample output can be seen by building project and exercising one of the test simulator targets (e.g. simIFCEasy). It is written in C++ and has been compiled on Linux.

The creation of this device is in response to the overcharging issue that electronic devices with lithium ion batteries face. Most electronic devices when charged to 100 percent will continue to receive power from their charger, overtime this will slowly degrade the life expectancy of the lithium ion battery in the electronic device. The Battery Optimizer aims to increase the life expectancy of a lithium ion battery in an electronic device by automatically stopping power being fed to an electronic device when the battery has reached a set threshold. Some companies do this with their devices but are usually proprietary. -Lenovo does this with some of their laptops -Company called "chargie" already doing this for phones. Using this device, it will provide universality. For the first iteration of this device, I chose to focus on laptops. I hope in the future to make an app for phones to connect to the device as well.

The goal of the project is the realization of a modular firmware that allows to control a CNC machine with different utensils. For instance, a CNC with a drill, with few changes can become a plotter with a pen or cutting machine to cut cardboard or stickers. In order to do that, we want project a CNC router with a mechanism that allows a fast utensil change and a controlling firmware which can use different utensils changing some configuration parameters.

This OBD library for Arduino is developed for the OBD-II Adapter for Arduino. Several example sketches are provided for demonstrating the usage of the library as well as for real data logging use. The aim of the project is to provide Arduino vehicle connectivity via the OBD-II port with easy-to-use Arduino library so Arduino lovers can start play Arduino on their cars easily. With GLCD Tools you can convert windows bitmap files (bmp) to a byte array suitable for graphic LCD displays. Additionally you can create fontsets out of your system fonts for the displays. It outputs C Code which you can use in your µC project.

QFSViewer is a small tool for developers to view the contents of various file system raw image files, which does not rely on the operating system mounting, does not require permission requests, and is completed entirely within the software application. Based on this feature, the tool can easily run on windows/linux/macos.

"µOS++" (micro OS plus plus) is an open source, royalty-free, real-time operating system intended for embedded systems built around ARM Cortex M or AVR devices. It is based on a preemptive scheduler written in C++ (more info in the Wiki).

Moebius Linux is a Raspberry PI armhf distribution built from scratch and targeted to have a small footprint. 20Mb of RAM (with ssh) and a 128Mb SD are minimum requirements. Size, speed and optimizations are main goals for this distro, take a look at it and contribute if you like it

smartCOM is a graphical serial device terminal, it's an alternative to minicom. It is aimed mainly at hardware developers who need a gui test tools to talk to their custom hardware.
