The fonts' source files and build instructions are available in the repository's master branch. Provides several types and styles of fonts for coding purposes. To build the binary font files from source, you need Python 3 along with the Adobe Font Development Kit for OpenType (AFDKO) and FontTools packages. The key to building the OTF fonts is makeotf, which is part of the AFDKO toolset. Information and usage instructions can be found by executing makeotf -h. The TTFs are generated with the otf2ttf and ttfcomponentizer tools. For convenience, a shell script named build.sh is provided in the root directory. It builds all OTFs and TTFs into a directory called target/. -

Redshift adjusts the color temperature of your screen according to your surroundings. This may help your eyes hurt less if you are working in front of the screen at night. This program is inspired by f.lux. Redshift adjusts the color temperature according to the position of the sun. A different color temperature is set during night and daytime. During twilight and early morning, the color temperature transitions smoothly from night to daytime temperature to allow your eyes to slowly adapt. At night the color temperature should be set to match the lamps in your room. This is typically a low temperature at around 3000K-4000K (default is 3700K). During the day, the color temperature should match the light from outside, typically around 5500K-6500K (default is 5500K). The light has a higher temperature on an overcast day. -

A bitmap programming font optimized for coziness
A bitmap programming font optimized for coziness. Cozette is a 6x13px (bounding box; average 5px character width, 3px descent, 10px ascent, 8px cap height) bitmap font based on Dina, which itself is based on Proggy. It's also heavily inspired by Creep. I absolutely adore Creep, and was using it up until I got a higher-DPI screen for which it was slightly too small. That prompted me to make the bitmap font I always wished existed: Cozette; a small-but-not-tiny bitmap font with great coverage of all the glyphs you might encounter in the terminal. I'm intentionally putting the emphasis on "you" - although Cozette already has all the glyphs I've seen in my CLI tools so far, you might find it's missing a glyph you wish it had. If that's the case, please file an issue! It's an important goal for Cozette to be a useful bitmap alternative to Nerd Fonts. Bitmap fonts are, effectively, just that - bitmaps. -

Papirus is a free and open source SVG icon theme for Linux, based on Paper Icon Set with a lot of new icons and a few extras, like Hardcode-Tray support, KDE colorscheme support, Folder Color support, and others. Some software uses an absolute path instead of the icon name in a .desktop file or in the source code which makes them unthemable. To deal with hardcoded application icons we recommend using hardcode-fixer. Papirus supports most of the applications in the list. If hardcode-fixer doesn't support your favorite app yet, please open an issue here or edit your .desktop file manually. To fix icons of running Steam games, you can use Steam Icons Fixer script, that will connect all icons available from our icon theme with your installed games. -

Source Han Code JP Version 2.010 is released. This version supports style-linking in apps that include 'B' (Bold) and 'I' (Italic) buttons in their font menu. The sorting of the font names in some apps is also improved. U+2423 '␣' OPEN BOX now has a monospaced horizontal advance of 667 units (the previous version used 1000 units). Style-linking is now supported correctly, meaning that you can access 'Bold' and 'Italic' styles by pressing the 'B' or 'I' buttons in apps that support style linking. Source Han Code JP is a derivative of Source Han Sans that replaces its proportional Latin glyphs with fixed-width 667-unit glyphs from Source Code Pro. The Latin glyphs are scaled to match the glyphs for Japanese kana and kanji, and their widths are adjusted to be exactly 667 units (two-thirds of an EM). Source Han Code JP is intended to be used as a UI font for mixed Latin and Japanese text on displays, for programming, editing HTML/CSS, viewing text or inputting to the command line.
