The MaterialViewPager project is an Android library that simplifies building a “ViewPager + material-design header” interface: basically, you get a scrolling interface where pages are swipable and a header at the top — often with an image — that can animate (e.g. Ken Burns effect) or behave according to scroll, giving a polished “material-design + parallax / dynamic header” UI out of the box. It abstracts away the boilerplate associated with combining a ViewPager + PagerAdapter + header + toolbar + tabstrip — so instead of wiring all that manually, you drop in a single custom view in your layout and configure with XML attributes (header height, header image or logo, colors, fade, etc). The library supports customizing header appearance (static or animated), logos, toolbar behavior when you scroll, and integrates with Android’s view hierarchy (tabs, recycler views). -

Visualize the diagrams of your projects
While coding with AI assist, I noticed bigger projects need something more rigid as context so the AI coder doesn't stray away when I try to add new features. You know, to keeps its memory fresh and not change the stuff that already works. The trick is to ask the AI to write a diagram in Mermaid.js format that solidifies the structure of the project and then use that as context to keep the AI reminded at all times what the project is as a whole. This will prevent it from changing things its not supposed to change. This standalone offline web app will convert that mermaid.js code into a visual SVG image so that YOU as a human will be able to understand what the AI think about the structure of your projects so you can see it and fix any misconceptions until the diagram is correct for your project. (Source code is included in the html itself. Open it in a web browser to use.) -

Color palette package inspired by Metropolitan Museum of Art in NY
MetBrewer is an R package that provides color palettes inspired by artworks and collections in the Metropolitan Museum of Art (The Met). The idea is to draw on the rich visual heritage of fine art to generate palettes that are aesthetically pleasing and grounded in real-world artistic color usage. The palettes are curated, named after artworks or styles, and often include notes about colorblind-friendliness and contrast. The package supports both discrete and continuous palette types, with interpolation when more colors are requested than originally defined. It also provides ggplot2-friendly scale functions (scale_color_met_c, scale_fill_met_d, etc.) so integration into typical R plotting workflows is smooth. Internally, the package includes functions to list available palettes, check which are colorblind-friendly, and visualize all palettes at once. -

Switch your nav's design on the fly
A jQuery plugin that switches between multiple header designs as you scroll, so you always have a header that looks great with the content below it. Create your fixed nav (or header) as you typically would. Create your fixed nav (or header) as you typically would. You can use whatever markup suits you, just make sure the header works well with position:fixed. After that, take any sections of your page that need a different nav and add data-midnight="your-class" to it, where .your-class is the class you are going to use to style that header. If you don't use the property or just leave it blank, the .default class will be used for that section. You can style it in your CSS using the class .midnightHeader.your-class. Use whatever CSS or markup you like for each one. They will be switched automatically when necessary. To make everything work, just load midnight (and jQuery) and initialize it. We take care of the rest. -

It's Jekyll's default (and first) theme. It's what you get when you run jekyll new. Minima has been scaffolded by the jekyll new-theme command and therefore has all the necessary files and directories to have a new Jekyll site up and running with zero-configuration. From Minima v3 onwards, the base layout is named base.html instead of default.html to avoid confusing new users into assuming that name holds a special status. Users migrating from older versions with customized _layouts/default.html are advised to rename their copy to _layouts/base.html. Migrating users with additional customized layouts may either update front matter references to the former default.html layout or create a new default.html layout referencing the current base.html, whichever route is the easiest. -

Mirage is a modern, open-source web-based query explorer for Elasticsearch. It offers a blocks-based GUI for composing Elasticsearch queries and comes with an on-the-fly transformer to show the corresponding JSON query API of Elasticsearch. Queries can be saved for later reuse. They can also be captured and shared by copying the URL. Mirage works with any Elasticsearch 2. x, 5. x, 6. x, and 7.x index currently. Below is the roadmap for query support. Every app in appbase.io has a query explorer view, which uses mirage. Mirage can be used along with ⊞ DejaVu to browse data and perform CRUD operations inside an Elasticsearch index. -
