MinGW: A native Windows port of the GNU Compiler Collection (GCC), with freely distributable import libraries and header files for building native Windows applications; includes extensions to the MSVC runtime to support C99 functionality. All of MinGW's software will execute on the 64bit Windows platforms.

WinAVR (tm) is a suite of executable, open source software development tools for the Atmel AVR series of RISC microprocessors hosted on the Windows platform. Includes the GNU GCC compiler for C and C++.

A disassembler for the linux platform. Currently this supports x86 ELF files assumed to be written in C and output to intel- syntax assembly language; however the design is modular and replacements for any of these can be written.

The strace project has been moved to https://strace.io. strace is a diagnostic, debugging and instructional userspace tracer for Linux. It is used to monitor and tamper with interactions between userspace processes and the Linux kernel, which include system calls, signal deliveries, and changes of process state. The operation of strace is made possible by the kernel feature known as ptrace.

scanmem is a debugging utility designed to isolate the address of an arbitrary variable in an executing process. scanmem simply needs to be told the pid of the process and the value of the variable at several different times. After several scans of the process, scanmem isolates the position of the variable and allows you to modify its value.

gpsim is an open sourced simulator for Microchip's PIC microcontrollers. It supports all three families of PICs: 12-bit, 14-bit, and 16-bit cores. See also gputils http://gputils.sourceforge.net/

The ios_webkit_debug_proxy (aka iwdp) proxies requests from usbmuxd daemon over a websocket connection, allowing developers to send commands to MobileSafari and UIWebViews on real and simulated iOS devices. iOS WebKit Debug Proxy works on Linux, MacOS & Windows. The iOS Simulator is supported, but it must be started before the proxy. The simulator can be started in XCode, standalone, or via the command line. ios_webkit_debug_proxy can be used with many tools such as Chrome DevTools and Safari Web Inspector. To use Chrome DevTools it's the recommendation to use the RemoteDebug/remotedebug-ios-webkit-adapter project, which has instructions on how to setup Chrome to remote debug iOS devices, much similar to Android debugging. You can use Safari Web Inspector extracted from Webkit sources, e.g. artygus/webkit-webinspector. Another option is mozilla/valence which enables Firefox DevTools to be used with iOS.

Shadowsocks-libev is a lightweight secured SOCKS5 proxy for embedded devices and low-end boxes. Shadowsocks-libev is written in pure C and depends on libev. It's designed to be a lightweight implementation of shadowsocks protocol, in order to keep the resource usage as low as possible. Snap is the recommended way to install the latest binaries. You can build shadowsocks-libev and all its dependencies by script. The latest shadowsocks-libev has provided a redir mode. You can configure your Linux-based box or router to proxy all TCP traffic transparently, which is handy if you use an OpenWRT-powered router. Although shadowsocks-libev can handle thousands of concurrent connections nicely, we still recommend setting up your server's firewall rules to limit connections from each user. We strongly encourage you to install shadowsocks-libev from jessie-backports-sloppy.

CDK4AVR stands for Cross Development Kit for Atmels AVR RISC processor serie and should you support with a comprehensive Assembler and C development environment for even this processor familie under Linux or similar host systems.

HT is a file editor/viewer/analyzer for executables. The goal is to combine the low-level functionality of a debugger and the usability of IDEs. We plan to implement all (hex-)editing features and support of the most important file formats.

This emulator is capable of providing a faithful replication of the HP48. It also has a debugger for the saturn processor.

serialconsole (sc) is a minimal terminal program allowing to use one machine to access the serial console of another machine.

DUMA (Detect Unintended Memory Access) is a multi-platform memory debugging library. It can detect memory leaks and buffer overruns (or underruns) in a malloc() / new memory buffer. Udis86 is an easy-to-use minimalistic disassembler library for the x86 and x86-64 instruction set architectures. The primary intent of the design and development of udis86 is to aid software development projects that entail binary code analysis.

CeGCC is a cross-development environment for creating Windows CE (Pocket PC) applications, from a Linux, Cygwin, or MacOS-X host PC.

Virtual T is a TRS-80 Model 100/102/200 emulator that runs on Windows, Linux, and Macintosh. The goal of Virtual T is to provide 100% hardware emulation so any existing programs will run. It also adds powerful development and debugging tools.

TilEm is an emulator for the Z80 series of Texas Instruments graphing calculators. It supports all of the existing models in this series (TI-73, TI-76.fr, TI-81, TI-82, TI-83, TI-83 Plus, TI-84 Plus, TI-85, and TI-86.) TilEm features detailed emulation of all aspects of the calculator hardware, and includes a debugger for writing assembly programs.
