ModularAdmin is an open source dashboard theme built in a modular way. That makes it easy to scale, modify and maintain. We use SASS as CSS preprocessor language. Main variables are defined in the src/_variables.scss folder. For making life easier we broke down styles into components, and on build we're just merging all .scss files together and processing it to the dist/css/app.css file. There are also different theme variations located in src/_themes/ folder, where you can change the main variables to get different themes. There are a few predefined themes built-in. You can add new themes by adding a new file in src/_themes/ folder. We separate the application's scripts across its components. For simplicity we use ES5 in this version, and just wrap each component's script in jQuery $(function() { }). JS configurations are defined in the src/config.js file. On build, application script files are merged together and copied to the dist/js/app.js folder.

NES.css doesn't provide any fonts, but we do maintain the following list of fonts that we recommend for usage alongside the library. NES.css only provides components. You will need to define your own layout. The recommended font for NES.css is Press Start 2P. However, Press Start 2P only supports English characters. When you're using this framework with any language other than English, please use another font. Follow the Google Fonts instructions about how to include them. NES.css only requires CSS and doesn't depend on any JavaScript.

You can use Numerals in the browser and in Node.js. Create an instance of a numeral, Numeral takes numbers or strings that it trys to convert into a number. Numbers can be formatted to look like currency, percentages, times, or even plain old numbers with decimal places, thousands, and abbreviations. And you can always create a custom format. Set a default format so you can use .format() without a string. The default format to '0,0'. Set a custom output when formatting numerals with a value of 0 or null. Adding your own custom formats is as easy as adding a locale. Numeral.js, while less complex, was inspired by and heavily borrowed from Moment.js Formats now exist in their own files and act more or less as plugins. Check out the bytes format for an example of how to create one. When naming locale files use the ISO 639-1 language codes supplemented by ISO 3166-1 country codes when necessary.

In the spirit of show don’t tell, below is a scatterplot of the height and weight of Olympic athletes (sourced from Matt Riggott), constructed using a dot mark. We assign columns of data (such as weight) to visual properties (such as the dot’s x), and Plot infers the rest. You can configure much more, if needed, but Plot’s goal is to help you get a meaningful visualization quickly. Plot employs a layered grammar of graphics inspired by Vega-Lite, ggplot2, Wilkinson’s Grammar of Graphics, and Bertin’s Semiology of Graphics. Plot rejects a chart typology in favor of marks, scales, and transforms. Plot can be readily extended in JavaScript, whether to define a channel, a transform, or even a custom mark.

Our goal is to create the world's fastest extendable, non-transactional time series database for big data (you know, for kids)! Log file indexing is our initial focus. For example append only ASCII files produced by libraries like Log4J, or containing FIX messages or JSON objects. Occursions was built by a small team sick of creating hacks to remotely copy and/or grep through tons of large log files. We use it to index around a terabyte of new log data per day. You can use it too. Who doesn't have `just too many' log files? Occursions asynchronously tails log files and indexes the individual lines in each log file as each line is written to disk so you don't even have to wait for a second after an event happens to search for it. Occursions uses custom disk backed data structures to create and search its indexes so it is very efficient at using CPU, memory and disk. You can extend Occursions with shared libraries to support your own file formats, even binary file formats!
