    jq

    jq

Lightweight and flexible command-line JSON processor

jq is like sed for JSON data - you can use it to slice, filter, map and transform structured data with the same ease that sed, awk, grep and friends let you play with text. jq is written in portable C, and it has zero runtime dependencies. You can download a single binary, scp it to a far away machine of the same type, and expect it to work. jq can mangle the data format that you have into the one that you want with very little effort, and the program to do so is often shorter and simpler than you'd expect. Data in jq is represented as streams of JSON values - every jq expression runs for each value in its input stream, and can produce any number of values to its output stream. jq filters run on a stream of JSON data. The input to jq is parsed as a sequence of whitespace-separated JSON values which are passed through the provided filter one at a time. The output(s) of the filter are written to standard out, again as a sequence of whitespace-separated JSON data.

    shadowsocks-libev

    shadowsocks-libev

    Bug-fix-only libev port of shadowsocks

Shadowsocks-libev is a lightweight secured SOCKS5 proxy for embedded devices and low-end boxes. Shadowsocks-libev is written in pure C and depends on libev. It's designed to be a lightweight implementation of shadowsocks protocol, in order to keep the resource usage as low as possible. Snap is the recommended way to install the latest binaries. You can build shadowsocks-libev and all its dependencies by script. The latest shadowsocks-libev has provided a redir mode. You can configure your Linux-based box or router to proxy all TCP traffic transparently, which is handy if you use an OpenWRT-powered router. Although shadowsocks-libev can handle thousands of concurrent connections nicely, we still recommend setting up your server's firewall rules to limit connections from each user. We strongly encourage you to install shadowsocks-libev from jessie-backports-sloppy.

    Mozilla JPEG Encoder Project

    Mozilla JPEG Encoder Project

    Improved JPEG encoder

MozJPEG improves JPEG compression efficiency achieving higher visual quality and smaller file sizes at the same time. It is compatible with the JPEG standard, and the vast majority of the world's deployed JPEG decoders. MozJPEG is compatible with the libjpeg API and ABI. It is intended to be a drop-in replacement for libjpeg. MozJPEG is a strict superset of libjpeg-turbo's functionality. All MozJPEG's improvements can be disabled at run time, and in that case it behaves exactly like libjpeg-turbo. MozJPEG is meant to be used as a library in graphics programs and image processing tools. We include a demo cjpeg command-line tool, but it's not intended for serious use. We encourage authors of graphics programs to use libjpeg's C API and link with MozJPEG library instead. Progressive encoding with "jpegrescan" optimization. It can be applied to any JPEG file (with jpegtran) to losslessly reduce file size.

    FontForge Windows builds

    Unofficial Windows builds of FontForge

The aim of this project is to compile up-to-date Windows builds of FontForge. For 'stable' builds, see https://github.com/fontforge/fontforge/releases The build system used was based off that offered by Matthew Petroff (http://www.mpetroff.net/software/fontforge-windows/), but has since been practically rewritten. New in 11/07/2020: * Synced with the 20201107 release. New in 06/04/2020: * Updated to latest master, picks up a clipboard copying fix New in 14/03/2020: * Synced with the 20200314 release. New in 01/03/2020: * Updated to latest master, now built with CMake. (prerelease) New in 02/06/2019: * The 32-bit build now uses Python 3 (3.7) instead of Python 2. No further Python 2 builds will be provided. * The GDK3 backend is now used. VcXsrv is no longer bundled. New in 31/07/2017: KNOWN ISSUES: * CTRL-C from console no longer interrupts/stops FontForge
