Code::Blocks is a free, open-source, cross-platform C, C++ and Fortran IDE built to meet the most demanding needs of its users. It is designed to be very extensible and fully configurable. Finally, an IDE with all the features you need, having a consistent look, feel and operation across platforms. Built around a plugin framework, Code::Blocks can be extended with plugins. unluac is a decompiler for Lua 5.0 through 5.4. It runs on Lua chunks that have been compiled with the standard Lua compiler. It requires that debugging information has not been stripped from the chunk. (By default, the Lua compiler includes this debugging information.) This program is written in Java. A JAR package is available in the downloads section so you don't have to compile it. It runs from the command line and accepts a single argument: the file name of a Lua chunk. The decompiled code is printed to the standard output. Here is an example usage of unluac: java -jar unluac.jar myfile.lua > myfile_decompiled.lua The current version also has pretty good support for Lua 5.0 and Lua 5.1. Support for later versions is also good if the code doesn't use too many gotos.

GnuCOBOL (formerly OpenCOBOL) is a free, modern COBOL compiler. GnuCOBOL implements a substantial part of the COBOL 85, X/Open COBOL and newer ISO COBOL standards (2002, 2014, 2023), as well as many extensions included in other COBOL compilers (IBM COBOL, MicroFocus COBOL, ACUCOBOL-GT and others). GnuCOBOL translates COBOL into C and internally compiles the translated code using a native C compiler. Build COBOL programs on various platforms, including GNU/Linux, Unix, Mac OS X, and Microsoft Windows. SableCC is a parser generator which generates object-oriented frameworks for building compilers, interpreters and other text parsers. SableCC keeps a clean separation between machine and user code which leads to a shorter development cycle.

MIGRATED TO GITHUB https://github.com/extremecoders-re/pyinstxtractor This is a python script to extract the contents of a PyInstaller generated Windows executable file. The contents of the pyz file (usually pyc files) present inside the executable are also extracted. The pyc files are made valid so that a python bytecode decompiler will recognise it. Script can run on both python 2.x and 3.x Pyinstaller versions 2.0, 2.1, 3.0, 3.1 and 3.2 are supported

Jasmin is a Java Assembler. It takes ASCII descriptions for Java classes, written in a simple assembler-like syntax. It converts them into binary Java .class class files suitable for loading into a Java Virtual Machine implementation.

Squirrel is a light weight programming language featuring higher-order functions,classes/inheritance,delegation,tail recursion,generators,cooperative threads,exception handling, reference counting and garbage collection on demand. C-like syntax.

Xsemantics is a DSL (implemented in Xtext itself) for writing type systems, reduction rules, interpreters (and in general relation rules) for languages implemented in Xtext. It then generates Java code that can be used in your language implemented in Xtext for scoping and validation (it can also generate a validator in Java).

MTASC is an open-source (GPLv2) ActionScript 2.0 compiler developed by Motion-Twin Technologies (http://www.mtasc.org/). Motion-Twin no longer releases updates to MTASC though. This project is a community fork of MTASC with new improvements.

The Mozart Programming System is an open source implementation of the programming language Oz 3. Oz is a multi-paradigm language that supports declarative programming, object-oriented programming, constraint programming, concurrency and distributed programming as part of a coherent whole.

MLton is a whole-program optimizing compiler for Standard ML. MLton generates small executables with excellent runtime performance, utilizing untagged and unboxed native integers, reals, and words, unboxed native arrays, fast arbitrary-precision arithmetic based on GnuMP, and multiple code generation and garbage collection strategies. In addition, MLton provides a feature rich Standard ML programming environment, with full support for SML97 as given in The Definition of Standard ML (Revised), a number of useful language extensions, a complete implementation of the Standard ML Basis Library, various useful libraries, a simple and fast C foreign function interface, the ML Basis system for programming with source libraries, and tools such as a lexer generator, a parser generator, and a profiler.

The Portable Forth Environment implements the ANSI Forth Standard, it is fully written in C, the newer version has a module concept, and it is fully multithreaded. Autoconf used. Tested in embedded environments.

z390 Portable Mainframe Assembler and Emulator

We extend the Eclipse IDE with tools for development in Haskell, a functional programming language, providing support for a wide range of tools (compilers, interpreters, doc tools etc.) in a coherent, convenient and configurable environment.

The Open Fortran Project (OFP) provides a Fortran 2008 compliant parser and associated tools. These tools provide a Java and C API for actions called when parser rules are completed. It also provides Fortran interfaces to the OpenCL runtime (new). IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Open Fortran Project has switched to using a parser based on SDF (Syntax Definition Formalism). Please consider using our new work at https://github.com/OpenFortranProject/ofp-sdf. While the SDF parser is not as advanced as the ANTLR-based parser, it provides much more capabilities, including a term rewriting system for creating a Fortran AST (Abstract Syntax Tree) using Stratego/XT (see http://strategoxt.org) and other custom program transformations. The OFP ANTLR-based parser is no longer under active development.

The purpose of this project is to create and update a beginners guide to FreeBASIC. Over the years I have noticed that there was only three real ways to learn FreeBASIC. The FreeBASIC Documentation, the FreeBASIC Community Forum, and A old beginners guide written by Richard D. Clark and Ebben Feagan. Each of these sources are great, but they all assume some experience with a programming language. This Project is taking Richard D. Clark's and Ebben Feagan's "A Beginner's Guide to FreeBasic" and is editing, updating, reorganizing, and simplifying this guide. Mr. Clark and Mr. Feagan generously open sourced there guide so I could start this project. Without being able to stand on their shoulders I could not have even started this project. mspgcc4 is no longer supported. Please use the newer toolchain at the MSPGCC project. (This was a port of the GCC 4.x branch to the Texas Instruments MSP430 microcontroller core. It is based on the MSPGCC project that is stuck with GCC 3.2.3.)
