Freebasic Beginners Guide
An updated Beginners guide to FreeBASIC
The purpose of this project is to create and update a beginners guide to FreeBASIC. Over the years I have noticed that there was only three real ways to learn FreeBASIC. The FreeBASIC Documentation, the FreeBASIC Community Forum, and A old beginners guide written by Richard D. Clark and Ebben Feagan. Each of these sources are great, but they all assume some experience with a programming language. This Project is taking Richard D. Clark's and Ebben Feagan's "A Beginner's Guide to FreeBasic" and is editing, updating, reorganizing, and simplifying this guide. Mr. Clark and Mr. Feagan generously open sourced there guide so I could start this project. Without being able to stand on their shoulders I could not have even started this project. CobXRef is a Cobol cross reference tool that reads a Cobol source program and produces a file suitable for printing 'as is' that contains all variables, procedure paragraphs and section names referenced where they are defined as well as where they are used throughout the program or module as well as lists of unreferenced data names and paragraph & section names. it is used as a stand alone program. WinCMOC v0.6 is here! So many new features, I cant remember them all. Please uninstall old versions before installing. This is a port of the CMOC compiler (written by Pierre Sarrazin) to Windows. Currently CMOC does not support linking, so, I've written front end tools which edit CMOC's output so that it can be assembled and linked via LWTOOL's. A simple C editor in included which makes it easy to compile/build and run the xroar emulator. Kayacc is an alternate name for the TOMBO project. I am in the process of updating the Tombo project page with version 2.1.0. Please download Tombo2.1.0.tar.gz from the Files tab. Tombo is a compiler generation toolkit for constructing compilers and interpreters. It includes a BNF compiler that generates parsers for context free grammars, and a class library to support compiler development. The class library supports symbol tables, Unicode text manipulation, reserved word mappings, and translating between Unicode and byte oriented encodings. pascal p5c
fast, portable Pascal compiler using gnu c as intermediate code
p5c is a fast portable iso standard pascal compiler. It is derived from the pascal p5 compiler and creates gnu c code instead of p-code. This makes it very fast since it uses gcc to generate native code. p5c is multi platform - it is easy to get up and running since you only need gcc to start. Using gcc enables extra tools like a static analyser and code coverage analyser.
