    Ccache

    Ccache

    A fast compiler cache

Ccache is a compiler cache. It speeds up recompilation by caching previous compilations and detecting when the same compilation is being done again. Ccache is free software, released under the GNU General Public License version 3 or later. Supports GCC, Clang, MSVC (Microsoft Visual C++) and other similar compilers. Works on Linux, macOS, other Unix-like operating systems and Windows. Understands C, C++, assembler, CUDA, Objective-C and Objective-C++. Supports secondary storage over HTTP (e.g. using Nginx or Google Cloud Storage), Redis or local filesystem, optionally sharding data onto a server cluster. Supports fast "direct" and "depend" modes that don't rely on using the preprocessor. Supports compression using Zstandard. Checksums cache content using XXH3 to detect data corruption. Keeps statistics on hits/misses. Automatic cache size management. Easy installation.

    Teal

    Teal

The compiler for Teal, a typed dialect of Lua

This is the repository of tl, the compiler for Teal, a typed dialect of Lua. The core compiler has no dependencies and is implemented as a single tl. lua file which you can load into your projects. Running tl. loader() will add Teal support to your package loader, meaning that require() will be able to run .tl files. Alternatively, you can find pre-compiled binaries for Linux x86_64 and Windows x86_64 at the releases page. The packages contain a stand-alone executable that can run Teal programs (without the need of a separate Lua installation) and also compile them to Lua.

Compile and execute C "scripts" in one go!

I love C for its raw speed (although it does have its drawbacks). We should all write more C. With this shell script, you can compile and execute C "scripts" in one go! (Oh yeah, and it works for C++ too.) First of all, I want to clarify why this is not the same as tcc -run. TCC is a compiler. We all know that. TCC will perform its own set of optimizations, just as GCC will perform its own and Clang will perform its own. The purpose of this script is to give a simple front-end to your favorite compiler. I'm a fan of speed, and C definitely offers it. Being able to write a small, fast, and portable C "script" is great. You can pass around a C "script" just like you would a BASH script.

    OpenCV-MinGW-Build

    OpenCV-MinGW-Build

MinGW 32bit and 64bit version of OpenCV

OpenCV-MinGW-Build is a toolkit and set of build scripts that make it easier to compile OpenCV with the MinGW (Minimalist GNU for Windows) toolchain on Windows platforms. OpenCV itself is a widely used open-source computer vision and machine learning library, but building it on Windows with MinGW can be tricky due to compiler and dependency mismatches, configuration quirks, and platform differences. This repository packages automation, patched CMake configs, and step-by-step instructions so you can generate OpenCV binaries that work with MinGW GCC rather than being tied to MSVC (Microsoft Visual C++). This is especially useful for developers who prefer the GNU toolchain or who need a consistent cross-platform compile environment that matches Linux and macOS workflows. By smoothing out the build process and reducing manual configuration, it allows users to experiment with OpenCV features, prototype vision workflows, or integrate OpenCV into MinGW-based projects more reliably.

    koka

    koka

    Koka language compiler and interpreter

Koka is a strongly typed functional-style language with effect types and handlers. The core of Koka consists of a small set of well-studied language features, like first-class functions, a polymorphic type- and effect system, algebraic data types, and effect handlers. Each of these is composable and avoid the addition of “special” extensions by being as general as possible. Koka tracks the (side) effects of every function in its type, where pure and effectful computations are distinguished. The precise effect typing gives Koka rock-solid semantics backed by well-studied category theory, which makes Koka particularly easy to reason about for both humans and compilers. Effect handlers let you define advanced control abstractions, like exceptions, async/await, or probabilistic programs, as a user library in a typed and composable way. Perceus is an advanced compilation method for reference counting.

    Hikari

    Hikari

    LLVM Obfuscator

All releases prior to and including LLVM8 are signed using this PGP Key from Naville. Verifiable on his Keybase. Security is not now, and will never be based purely on Obscurity. The "Security Companies" might say so to sell more of their products. But no, binary obfuscation won't magically fix all your exploits and bugs, (If not introducing more). Designing an Obfuscator is hard, and keeping the source open definitely leaks the pattern to crackers which could potentially make the crackers' life easier if they have the right skillset. While every reasonable attempt has been made in Hikari to reduce such patterns from appearing, however, with overkill weapons like symbolic execution, binary obfuscation can still be defeated much easier, even so-called VM-based obfuscation. DOI 10.1145/2991079.2991114 explained this in great detail. I would implement a few anti-SE mechanisms in the future in an attempt to cause (even) more trouble to attackers, though.

    reko

    reko

    Reko is a binary decompiler

Reko (Swedish: "decent, obliging") is a decompiler for machine code binaries. This project is freely available under the GNU General Public License. The project consists of front ends, core decompiler engine, and back ends to help it achieve its goals. A command line, a Windows GUI, and a ASP.NET front end exist at the time of writing. The decompiler engine receives inputs from the front ends in the form of either individual executable files or decompiler project files. Reko project files contain additional information about a binary file, helpful to the decompilation process or for formatting the output. The decompiler engine then proceeds to analyze the input binary. Reko has the ambition of supporting decompilation of various processor architectures and executable file formats with minimal user intervention. For a complete list, see the supported binaries page.

    Dotty

    Dotty

The scala 3 compiler, also known as Dotty

The exciting new version of Scala 3 brings many improvements and new features. Scala 3 is a complete overhaul of the Scala language. At its core, many aspects of the type-system have been changed to be more principled. While this also brings exciting new features along (like union types), first and foremost, it means that the type-system gets (even) less in your way and for instance type-inference and overload resolution are much improved. One underlying core concept of Scala was (and still is to some degree) to provide users with a small set of powerful features that can be combined to great (and sometimes even unforeseen) expressivity. For example, the feature of implicits has been used to model contextual abstraction, to express type-level computation, model type-classes, perform implicit coercions, encode extension methods, and many more. Learning from these use cases, Scala 3 takes a slightly different approach and focuses on intent rather than mechanism.

    Seed7

Interpreter and compiler for the Seed7 programming language.

Interpreter, compiler, libraries, documentation and examples for the Seed7 programming language. Seed7 is a general purpose programming language. It is a higher level language compared to Ada, C/C++ and Java. In Seed7 new statements and operators can be declared easily. Functions with type results and type parameters are more elegant than a template or generics concept. Object orientation is used where it brings advantages and not in places where other solutions are more obvious. Seed7 spares no effort to support portable programming. Several driver libraries assure that the access to operating system resources such as files, directories, network, clock, keyboard, console and graphics are done in a portable way. Although Seed7 contains several concepts from other programming languages, it is generally not considered a direct descendant of any other programming language.

    Clash

    Clash

    Haskell to VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog compiler

Clash is a functional hardware description language that borrows both its syntax and semantics from the functional programming language Haskell. It provides a familiar structural design approach to both combinational and synchronous sequential circuits. The Clash compiler transforms these high-level descriptions to low-level synthesizable VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog. Clash is an open-source project, licensed under the permissive BSD2 license, and actively maintained by QBayLogic. The Clash project is a Haskell Foundation affiliated project. Clash is built on Haskell which provides an excellent foundation for well-typed code. Together with Clash's standard library it is easy to build scalable and reusable hardware designs. Load your designs in an interpreter and easily test all your component without needing to setup a test bench. Although Clash offers many features, you sometimes need to directly access VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog directly.
