APTOS is an open source Apt translator project. It consists of several CAM applications, based on the Apt programming language. It is used to create control programs for cnc mills, lathes, water jets, lasers, and other industrial equipment.

p5c is a fast portable iso standard pascal compiler. It is derived from the pascal p5 compiler and creates gnu c code instead of p-code. This makes it very fast since it uses gcc to generate native code. p5c is multi platform - it is easy to get up and running since you only need gcc to start. Using gcc enables extra tools like a static analyser and code coverage analyser. Ox is an attribute grammar compiling system that augments Lex and Yacc specifications with definitions of synthesized and inherited attributes written in a combination of Ox and C/C++ syntax. From these augmented specifications, Ox generates ordinary Lex and Yacc specifications that build and decorate attributed parse trees. The user can specify parse-tree traversals for easy ordering of side effects such as code generation. Ox handles the tedious and error-prone details of writing code for parse-tree management, so its use eases problems of security and maintainability associated with that aspect of translator development.

The 'TIGCC for Linux' project aims to develop a C compiler for TI Graphing Calculators based on a M68000 processor. The target can be a TI89/89Ti/TI92+/V200 calculator. A such compiler already exists under Windows but this one is for Linux users.
