For most applications one of the "single method" packages, e.g. StanSample.jl, StanDiagnose.jl, etc., is a better choice for day-to-day use. To execute the most important method in Stan ("sample"), use StanSample.jl. Some Pluto notebook examples can be found in the repository. -

BitrateCompressionCalculator for Python (BCCpy) is a very simple application for calculating a file size from length and bitrate. BCCpy came about as the result of my beginning to learn Python and recreating the basic functionality of a simple VB program I wrote back in 1999. Since I was never very proficient with Visual Basic (or Applesoft BASIC for that matter); this application is very basic and could use lots of improvements. I'll implement them as I learn them. As of October 6, 2018; I have "abandoned" the project. I have actually forgotten everything I know about Python since writing this and other than adding error handlers; I really don't know how much further I could take it. ... -

GPU Interactive Program For Edge detection
This is a standalone, all in one Edge Detector that is mainly running on GPU using the CUDA technology. Each algorithm also has an OpenCV counterpart which is the closest one in terms of speed. This project is partly based on the Sobel Filter sample available as part of the CUDA SDK. This project also partly uses the OpenCV library to load different types of image. This program includes: Prewitt filter, Roberts Cross, Canny edge detector and finally Sobel filter with the ability to modify some variables such as sigma in Canny and see the result in real-time. Ccide reads a source program, in one of several programming languages, expands all embedded decision tables, and generates the new, expanded source. Ccidew processes C language programs directly.
