Cloudium OS is being written in pure ASM. It's designed for speed and ease, having cloud computing in mind. It also is secure (without requiring constant user input like Windows). But, how are we going to do this? Well every os wants/says these kind of things, so to accomplish our goals we follow these simple rules: keep it simple (that's way better then these complex interfaces etc. almost nobody wants), generalize (this makes things easier and more useful without extra complexity) and be inventive (sometimes doing it the classical way just doesn't work). Pearl Linux Surf
Quick booting OS Built for live usb web browsing
Pearl Surf was designed to run from a usb thumb drive made the the Ubuntu USB-Creator. We included all you need to start browsing with Chromium and Thunderbird for an email client. Also included for added multimedia functions is Clementine, Banshee and totem. I decided that I was not looking to have the fastest loading live OS as from what I see is all anyone is concerned about, but to acually take a full minute maybe even 1.5 to load and have a decent OS to work with. It loads very fast on many types of systems we check our systems on from net books to all brands of desktops. This is also a great system for you to add software of your choosing for your own custom built system. Ubuntu Software Center is installed for you to add to this lightweight release of Pearl. Java and Flash support built in. -

Sets your PC to sleep, hibernate, shutdown, or restart based on your time setting. Time may be set between 1 minute to 24 hours (in 1 minute increments). Countdown timer displays time remaining until the action occurs. This is a combined x64/x86 version. (Note: Tool is idle when time reads 0 hr:0 mins) Consider Windows 10 has changed the console "shutdown.exe" command to be active only for 30 minutes max. With DeneDown, you can extend your sleep/shutdown/hibernation period much longer, as it was in previous Windows versions.
