p3d is a general data-reduction tool for use with fiber-fed integral-field spectrographs (IFSs); although, the spectrum viewer works with spectrum data cubes of any origin. The tool is built about the proprietary software IDL (Harris/EXELIS; see http://www.harrisgeospatial.com), but can be used without any license. Most slowly running loops are implemented in parallelized C (OpenMP). -

...Collimation Circles is developed with .NET 7 and AvaloniaUI Framework using MVVM architecture patern. Program was tested on Windows 10 and 11, Ununtu Linux 22.04.1 LTS (Wayland) and Raspberry PI OS Bullseye. I'm not able to test it on macOS, but it should work. ...The primary improvements to this code base include a training and evaluation framework, along with a fusion based approach to detection, combining a number of models (currently hard coded to two trained models) along with Sum Threshold as an additional "expert." Additional work is being done to add custom layers to this model for further experimentation, including Squeeze/Excitation layers (unimplemented.) Sum Threshold (in fusion as an expert, and in testing as a comparison) requires the use of AOFlagger by Andre Offringa. You can find this code at https://gitlab.com/aroffringa/aoflagger. MieConScat is a GUI/Console program for generating MIE SCATtering data as a table of cross sections. It can generate scattering cross sections over specified angular ranges and total absorption cross sections. It was initially developed to aid work with optical particle counters (OPC) especially when CONverting data between cross section and diameter space. This is clone of the Celestron PECTool used to upload, download and manipulate PEC data. It is intended to work with Celestron Nexstar mounts like NexStar GPS, NexStar GPS-SA, NexStar iSeries, NexStar SE Series, NexStar GT, Advanced-VX, Advanced-GT and CGE mounts. Communication to the hand control is 9600 bits/sec, no parity and one stop bit via the RS-232 port on the base of the hand control.
