FreeRTOS BLE Mobile SDK for Android

FreeRTOS BLE Mobile SDK for Android

Android SDK for FreeRTOS Bluetooth Devices

Using the Android SDK for FreeRTOS Bluetooth Devices, you can create mobile applications that do the following. Scan for and connect to nearby BLE devices running FreeRTOS. Perform WiFi provisioning of the FreeRTOS BLE devices after connecting to them ( Only supported for Espressif ESP32-DevKitC ). Act as a proxy for transmitting MQTT messages between a device running FreeRTOS and the AWS IoT cloud. The SDK includes some functions that help you perform BLE operations with FreeRTOS devices. Once the connection to the device is established, you get an AmazonFreeRTOSDevice object, and you can use this object to do WiFi provisioning or Mqtt proxy. The MQTT proxy service controls the MQTT proxy. It allows the device to send and receive MQTT messages from the AWS IoT cloud through the phone, when this feature is enabled. The SDK includes a demo application that demonstrates some of the main features of the SDK.

    Fuel

    Fuel

The easiest HTTP networking library for Kotlin/Android

Fuel is the easiest HTTP networking library for Kotlin/Android. We offer maven and jitpack installations. Maven via bintray only has stable releases but jitpack can be used to build any branch, commit and version. Have patience when updating the version of fuel or building for the first time as jitpack will build it, and this may cause the request to jitpack to time out. Wait a few minutes and try again (or check the status on jitpack). Fuel requests can be made on the Fuel namespace object, any FuelManager or using one of the String extension methods. If you specify a callback the call is async, if you don't it's blocking. Fuel and the extension methods use the FuelManager.instance under the hood. You can use this FuelManager to change the default behavior of all requests.

    GiftedChat

    GiftedChat

The most complete chat UI for React Native

See the files in example-slack-message for an example of how to override the default UI to make something that looks more like Slack, with usernames displayed and all messages on the left. Avatar as user's initials. Localized dates. Multi-line TextInput. InputToolbar avoiding keyboard. Redux support. System message. Quick Reply messages (bot). Typying indicatior react-native-typing-animation. If you decide to specify a text prop, GiftedChat will no longer manage its own internal text state and will defer entirely to your prop. This is great for using a tool like Redux, but there's one extra step you'll need to take, simply implement onInputTextChanged to receive typing events and reset events (e.g. to clear the text onSend). If you are using Create React Native App / Expo, no Android specific installation steps are required, you can skip this section. Otherwise, we recommend modifying your project configuration.

    Hacklock

    Hacklock

Hack Android Pattern From Termux With This Tool

Hacklock is a Bash-based Termux project designed to imitate an Android pattern-lock interface and capture the pattern entered into it. The repository describes the workflow as phishing rather than as direct exploitation of Android's lock-screen security. It claims to work from both rooted and non-rooted Android devices because the collection mechanism is delivered through a web-style lure rather than a device privilege escalation. The project includes support for exposing the imitation page through tunneling services and displaying the captured pattern in a numbered representation. Its interface also includes update, information, and exit functions. The tool is suitable only for controlled awareness testing or research with explicit authorization because using it to obtain another person's unlock pattern would be credential theft.

    LTMorphingLabel

    LTMorphingLabel

Animated morphing effects for UILabel written in Swift

A morphing UILabel subclass written in Swift. The .Scale effect mimicked Apple's QuickType animation of iOS 8 of WWDC 2014. New morphing effects are available as Swift extensions. XCFramework is a new option introduced in Xcode 11. You can manually download the pre-compiled LTMorphingLabel.xcframework.zip from the Releases page. Then drag and drop it into your project. Change the class of a label from UILabel to LTMorphingLabel. Programmatically set a new String to its text property. To use interactively, call .pause() after changing .text property, and use updateProgress(progress: Float)to update the progress interactively. Even though this lib was used in a few products on App Store, it’s still an experimental project.

    Landscapist

    Landscapist

Pluggable, highly optimized Jetpack Compose image loading library

Landscapist is a highly optimized, pluggable Jetpack Compose image loading solution that fetches and displays network images with Glide, Coil, and Fresco. This library supports tracing image loading states, composing custom implementations, and some valuable animations, such as crossfades, blur transformation, and circular reveals. You can also configure and attach image-loading behaviors easily and fast with image plugins. Landscapist is built with a lot of consideration to improve the performance of image loadings in Jetpack Compose. Most composable functions of Landscapist are Restartable and Skippable, which indicates fairly improved recomposition performance according to the Compose compiler metrics. Also, the library performance was improved with Baseline Profiles and it supports many pluggable features, such as ImageOptions, listening image state changes, custom composables, preview on Android Studio, ImageComponent and ImagePlugin, placeholder, and animations.

    Lottie-Web

    Lottie-Web

    Render After Effects animations natively

Lottie-Web renders vector animations exported from Adobe After Effects as lightweight JSON, playing them in the browser via SVG or Canvas. Animations remain crisp at any resolution, load quickly compared to videos or GIFs, and can be controlled programmatically for interactivity. The runtime supports playback options like loop, autoplay, segment control, and event hooks, making it easy to sync motion with UI state. Because animations are data rather than pixels, designers and developers can collaborate: designers export with the Bodymovin plugin, and developers integrate the JSON with minimal code. The renderer handles masks, shapes, and keyframe timing to closely mirror After Effects behavior within web constraints. This approach brings high-quality motion design to product interfaces without large asset sizes or complex sprite workflows.

    MMdnn

    MMdnn

Tools to help users inter-operate among deep learning frameworks

MMdnn is a set of tools to help users inter-operate among different deep learning frameworks. E.g. model conversion and visualization. Convert models between Caffe, Keras, MXNet, Tensorflow, CNTK, PyTorch Onnx and CoreML. MMdnn is a comprehensive and cross-framework tool to convert, visualize and diagnose deep learning (DL) models. The "MM" stands for model management, and "dnn" is the acronym of deep neural network. We implement a universal converter to convert DL models between frameworks, which means you can train a model with one framework and deploy it with another. During the model conversion, we generate some code snippets to simplify later retraining or inference. We provide a model collection to help you find some popular models. We provide a model visualizer to display the network architecture more intuitively. We provide some guidelines to help you deploy DL models to another hardware platform.

    MaterialColdStart

    MaterialColdStart

Utilize the window background during cold start time to make your app

Material Cold Start is an Android technique and asset generator for improving the visual appearance of an application's cold-start period. It uses the activity window background to display an interface-like preview before the main activity finishes initializing. This avoids the blank flash that can otherwise appear around status bars, toolbars, and app bars. The project generates scalable nine-patch assets that can imitate a Material Design app shell during startup. Shell-based SVG templates allow developers to adjust dimensions and generate assets for multiple device configurations. A temporary launch theme is applied in the manifest and then replaced with the normal application theme during activity creation. The repository was archived in 2021 and now serves primarily as a reference for this older Android startup technique.
