OBS Studio

OBS Studios, also known as Open Broadcaster Software, is a free and open source software program for live streaming and video recording. Features of the software include device/source capture, recording, encoding and broadcasting. Stream on Windows, Mac or Linux. This software is commonly used by video game streamers on the popular streaming platform Twitch.

Jamulus

Jamulus is an internet jam session software that enables musicians to perform real-time jam sessions over the internet.

There is a Jamulus server which collects the audio data from each Jamulus client, mixes the audio data and sends the mix back to each client.

Jamulus is Open Source software (GPL, GNU General Public License) and runs under Windows (ASIO), MacOS (Core Audio) and Linux (Jack). It is based on the Qt framework and uses the OPUS audio codec.

The required minimum internet connection speed is 200 kbps for the up- and downstream. The ping time (i.e. round trip delay) from your computer to the server should not exceed 40 ms average.

butt (broadcast using this tool)

butt (broadcast using this tool) is an easy to use, multi OS streaming tool. It supports ShoutCast and IceCast and runs on Linux, MacOS and Windows. The main purpose of butt is to stream live audio data from your computer’s Mic or Line input to a Shoutcast or Icecast server. Recording is also possible. It is NOT intended to be a server by itself or automatically stream a set of audio files.

ONVIF Device Manager

ONVIF Device Manager is a Network Video Client (NVC) to manage Network Video Transmitters (NVT), Network Video Storage (NVS) and Network Video Analytics (NVA) devices. It implements Discovery, Device, Media, Imaging, Analytics, Events and PTZ services. Written in C# and uses ffmpeg for media decoding.
