Play Angry Birds in your browser at no cost
Angry Birds — the popular physics-based puzzle game that many know from smartphones — is now playable for free directly in most web browsers. This release is part of a promotional partnership between Rovio and Google tied to the ChromeBook, so you can jump into the action without installing a mobile app.
What you do in the game
Your objective is simple: topple the green pigs and demolish their protective structures on the right side of the screen. Each level challenges you to use a limited number of birds to collapse castles, towers and other constructions until all the pigs are gone.
How the controls work
The slingshot sits on the left edge of the play area and serves as your launch point. Pull back to set the strength and direction, then release to send a bird flying. Small on-screen guides show the path of your previous shot so you can fine-tune aim, power and angle on subsequent attempts.
Levels, pacing and progression
The browser edition includes over 200 individual stages, grouped into themed sets. Difficulty ramps up gradually, introducing new obstacles and requiring more precise shots the further you go — plenty of content to keep you occupied for a long time.
