I love the work you are doing with MSYS, but that poor
icon leaves a bit to be desired. In that vein, I humbly
submit my meager contribution.

I personally use a version of rxvt.exe patched with my
icon, and I think that it looks quite nice, if I do say so.
Not that there was anything wrong with the original,
mind you.

Ok, I'll add these to the list of icons in the rxvt binary.
I especially like the MSYS one. They are both nice and
clear with lots of white space that makes them desireable as
    an icon.

    Thanks,
    Earnie

I've only included the MSYS one and have removed all others.
Thank you for the nice art work.

Why not also add them (and all current icons) in the
msys.dll ? Just adding them in the winver.rc
(/winsup/cygwin) would be sufficient to compile them in the dll.

    Unnecessary bloat of file size.

Considering the mSYS DLL icon on this page:

    It's only 38k... Out of a 5.6 Mb DLL, that's 0.6 % of
    bloating...

But if 38k is important for some users, then adding an icon
individually (and not as part of the DLL), wastes one FAT
allocation and probably an extra cluster on the disk.

    Just my satirical 2 cents...
