Scrolls to left for a new line

In documents with a lot of tabs (so that I edit them
while scrolled to the right of the active window),
"enter" causes the cursor to go to a new line but the
window to scroll to the left as much as possible while
keeping the cursor in view.
Needless to say, this feature causes the window to
jump around when I edit a document with a lot of tabs,
and I have to scroll back to the right every time I
hit "enter" if I want to be able to see my longer
lines.

I suggest a feature be added to the File System
Browser in Global Options, forcing the window to stay
to the right as much as possible all of the time.
