Google Scholar includes non-ASCII characters in the citekey of its BibTeX if the first author has a non-ASCII letter in his/her name (for example pöltz1999environment). This is not recognized by BibDesk when pasted with Alt+Cmd+L. It would be better if this was recognized, and the the citekey automatically changed to poltz1999environment. (For reference, when creating a new publication and typing Environment in the title field, 1999 in the year field and Alexander Pöltz in the name field, this is exactly the citekey that BibDesk automatically generates).
Thanks!
